I will only be using it for one month for my event and then canceling, which is good because the subscription is quite expensive at over €20 a month. Honestly, if I had enough time, I would have just built my own app. However, my biggest issue—and the reason for the low rating—is the incredibly outdated user interface. It is not intuitive in the slightest and it took me quite a while to figure out how everything works. There are some really clumsy design choices: for example, some words are awkwardly split across two lines. Also, setting up the lock mode PIN is highly confusing. There is no "confirm" or "save" button; you just have to press the "back" button to apply it, which is terrible UX and leaves you guessing if it actually saved. The User interface is not very user friendly. For no reason I am getting the older version of the app (older layout) (LumaBooth 2.0+) downloaded. No issues with that. What it fails to tell you and what AI/Google doesn’t realize is it requires access to ALL photos on your device to work. It says you can restrict to only ones you want to allow but that is 100% inaccurate. I tried that. Because I wouldn’t allow full access, I couldn’t get it to work and wasted $19.99/month. There is ZERO reason this or any app should require (or have) access to all your photos (to include hidden ones). Stay far, far away from this app. Don’t be out $20 like I am. I decided it wouldn’t meet my needs and tried to delete my account multiple times.
