## What is LumaCard?

LumaCard is a multi-language learning app for kids 4-9. We turn three foundational writing systems - Latin ABCs, Traditional Chinese Zhuyin, and Japanese kana - into cards your child can trace, listen to, and play with.

Three ways to learn

TRACE
Kids trace each character following the proper stroke order and get a star rating when done.
- 52 ABC letters (uppercase + lowercase)
- 37 Zhuyin symbols (the bo-po-mo-fo alphabet)
- 46 hiragana
- 46 katakana
Every character comes with a real human-recorded pronunciation.

VOCAB CARDS
600+ vocabulary cards across five themes - Greetings, Everyday Nouns, Actions, Numbers/Colors/Time, Places/People/Nature.
- Triple-translated: English, Traditional Chinese, Japanese
- Real human audio for every word
- Built-in Leitner spaced-repetition: cards your child forgets show up more often

WORD PUZZLES
Mix-and-match letters, Zhuyin, or hiragana to spell short words. The next step after individual character recognition.

Stroke order

Tracing now teaches stroke order. Each character is asked for one stroke at a time, with the starting point and direction marked on screen. A stroke that goes the wrong way is rubbed out rather than left on the page, so what your child sees taking shape is always a correct character.

All four sets are covered: 37 Zhuyin, 52 ABC letters, 46 hiragana, 46 katakana.

Easier to use

- Answer buttons on iPhone, so grading no longer depends on a swipe
