You've driven somewhere beautiful and arrived to find it closed, or gotten there ten minutes after the light died. Lume fixes that. Lume is a scenic spot finder for the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. Overlooks, sunset spots, city skyline views, waterfalls, quiet trails, and places worth taking a date. Every spot is a real place someone around here actually went. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT Most apps hand you a list and wish you luck. Lume checks the clock first. If a spot is closed, or you've missed the good light, or it's not the kind of place you want to be right now, you don't see it. No wasted drives. BUILT BY PEOPLE WHO LIVE HERE Spots don't come from a tourism board. They come from people posting places they found. A spot only becomes public once enough different people have independently posted it — so what you see is what locals actually go to, not whatever went viral once. WHAT YOU'LL FIND • Scenic overlooks and viewpoints • Sunset and golden hour spots • City skyline and night views • Date spots • Waterfalls and creeks • Trails and quiet walks • Rooftops and places to get a drink with a view HOW IT WORKS Open the app and see what's good near you right now. Save what you like. Post the places you find. Watch spots you contributed become part of the map other people use. LUME PRO Pro unlocks offline maps, advanced filters, and a few extras for people who use Lume a lot. The core app is free and stays free. Lume Pro is $4.99/month. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings. WHERE IT WORKS Lume is DMV-first — Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland have the deepest coverage. Outside the area, you can still post spots and help build your city's map.
