### 2/5 — Schön gemacht, aber …

*2025-12-28*

Ein paar Rätsel sind unmöglich zu lösen und ergeben überhaupt keinen Sinn. So wird das Spiel ungenießbar.

### 3/5 — It was fun! But had one annoying aspect

*2024-07-21*

At was pretty fun but I don’t know loads about it as whenever I stoped playing and went off the game it would reset all my progress! Also sometimes when I tried to press on things it wouldn’t do anything, it really frustrates me, it definitely has vibes of kimono city though! Great game!

### 3/5 — So the wind turbine puzzle says East when it means West.

*2024-01-13, version 1.6.5*

That was pretty frustrating and I had to look up a guide which I dislike doing for puzzle games. Other than that, very nice game!

### 4/5 — Great just short

*2023-11-30*

Can’t be more than a half hour long maybe hour max if it’s a kid under 10yrs old. Thinking back, this could have been developed for kids 6-9yrs. Either way it’s cute, had fun, great graphics & this is years after I originally got it. It’s still usable on iPhone 12mini iOS 17 beta 4 w/o changing any display settings.

### 3/5 — Almost…

*2023-01-02, version 1.6.5*

This game was obviously made with love, and the puzzles are relatively straightforward, BUT, even using a walkthrough, there were bits that didn’t work. It WOULD be an intuitive play, but the tap has to be SO precise, that the logical answer seems not to work. I still don’t know what the binoculars are for, or why I needed to look at the photos to progress.

SPOILERS: it made sense to me that the drafting board should matter, that the bookshelf and gramophone should do *something*, and I clicked all around those areas, but found nothing until I microtapped everywhere.

If I’d played this first, I would never have paid to get Luminosity.

### 2/5 — The keys aren’t appearing

*2022-12-16, version 1.6.5*

We thought we were doing something wrong but when we checked out a walkthrough it was clear that only half the keys are appearing on our game (so we can’t choose the correct keys in the house). So frustrating since we figured out all the other puzzles. Seems there is a glitch.

### 3/5 — To challenging 😥!

*2021-12-05*

I really like this game but I can’t believe there’s no help button There is no way I can complete the solar panels! Pls fix this to be a little easier. Oh and also I just wanna make my puzzles that I do on Lume much easier for younger players.

### 4/5 — Good, but short

*2021-04-16*

The first time i played this game it was very fun + entertaining + a bit challenging. Same with the 2ond time. + the 3rd. But after i downloaded it on my iPhone 5 (I say that b/c I want u all 2 now that it works) i just became bored b/c i was playing it 2 often and remembered all the codes. So very short.

I need 2 say this tho:
2 the ppl who designed and built it amazing job! Looks so neat + beautiful!!!

But i have 1 question. Y r there binoculars?

Over all, good game but like the 2ond 1 (lumino city) better.

I'm just saying a little short, but good nonetheless.

### 2/5 — Short!!!!

*2021-03-07*

Thought it was great! Finally finished the first level, now let’s get to the... oh.

That’s the end....

### 3/5 — Cute but short

*2020-09-03*

This is a cute puzzle game with a lovely cut out paper art style but it is very short and feels almost like it should be the opening chapter for a longer game.

### 3/5 — Too short

*2020-07-06*

**contains spoilers**

I grew up with Simon the sorcerer, monkey island and grim fandango and absolutely adore these types of games.

I actually downloaded this having completed the Lumino City game which I really enjoyed. However, was so disappointed when I found out there was only a handful of puzzles. I’m not going to moan about price because the level of effort that must go in to create a game so beautiful is value in my eyes. I would have happily paid more for a longer game.

I took a bit longer to complete than needed because despite my continually coming back to the grammar phone and clicking around it never played.. only opened books and told me it’s wonderful when you could get it to work. UI needs some work and I ended up having to cheat because I had walked round the house twenty times clicking on everything. I also lost my game a couple of times despite saving. Lumino City saved automatically so I assumed this would be the same.
The visuals and music are wonderful, I just wanted more gameplay.

### 3/5 — too difficult?

*2020-01-02*

Maybe I'm a little slow but even after going through a walk-though or two, I still thought... huh? I still didn't see how someone got that answer. The graphics were great so they got got three of the stars but puzzles only got one star. I got through the first few puzzles but I guess I didn't save right because I lost everything. And so far I haven't got the patience to go back and try again. The $5 wasn't a big deal, actually thought it was a bargin.

### 2/5 — Can’t Stop the Music!!!!!!

*2020-01-01*

I downloaded this as a precursor to Lumino City see if I wanted to purchase that app. I can’t even play this because the music is so distracting. It’s a major flaw that turning off the music isn’t an option, especially since one of the puzzles appears to be a musical puzzle! It’s absolutely maddening. I probably won’t be paying for Lumino City because of this. I like the art work on this and was so excited for Lumino City because the art work in that looks even better. So disappointed.

### 2/5 — Short

*2019-08-18, version 1.6.5*

Nice graphics and puzzles but VERY SHORT.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — where is the mute?

*2023-09-28, version 1.6.5*

i can’t find a way to mute just the game so that i can listen to other things on my phone. deleting app as a result.

### 1/5 — Just terrible.

*2021-06-28, version 1.6.5*

This game does everything wrong that makes playing this type of puzzle game painful:
First, the tap targets are too small. To open doors, you have to tap on the doorknob, not the rest of the door. To play the phonograph, you have to tap on the handle, not on the center mass.
Second, there are hidden tap targets. Under the sink is just darkness. And when you get the red arrow, you have to tap next to it to get closer.
Third, there are puzzles that require some strains to English to solve. “If” does not mean “pretend” under any circumstance. I think you meant “as if”.

The art is a mixed bag. While I like the photographs of models, I hate the shaky-cam when it pans.

### 1/5 — KEYZ!!

*2020-12-31, version 1.6.5*

Until you *decide* to give me *ALL* the keys...I’m being held HOSTAGE in that one spot! You’ve had YEARS to work the problem, yet you blew it off like the North Wind,& moved onto something else! Does your work not mean anything to you? This game may be quite a bit too short (cause, after ALL THESE YEARS you SHOULD HAVE SERIOUSLY ELONGATED IT!!),but it’s beautiful and worthwhile. So, even if there’s only one human to spare for it’s ULTIMATE COMPLETION...PLEASE,FINISH IT!! UNTIL THEN...YOU DO *NOT* DESERVE THE TITLE OF... *DEVELOPER*!!

### 1/5 — Где Русский ???

*2020-03-16*

Продаёте в России, будьте добры добавить Русский язык.

### 1/5 — 이걸 게임이라고

*2019-07-09*

이걸 게임이라고

### 1/5 — Too hard

*2019-04-08, version 1.6.5*

I literally couldn't do one puzzle on my own without watching a video to get through it. I wanted to like it but it was super hard for me.

### 1/5 — Started out good...but all it had was a start

*2018-12-09*

The game starts out exactly like you’d expect it too, but the problem is that’s all it is, a start. You get one end problem with 4 simple puzzles to solve then that’s it, it’s done. More like a very slight intro rather than a prequel, hope this stays free definitely not worth a price. Better to skip this and go straight to lumino city which is great, well detailed, has a good story line, and most importantly...HAS MORE THAN 30 MINUTES OF GAMEPLAY.

### 1/5 — Cute, but not fun. Unresponsive controls

*2018-11-29, version 1.6.5*

I have a 6+ with the most current iOS. It was a challenge to get the girl to go where I wanted and to activate things or enlarge them. The gramophone would never play music, because no matter where I tapped it wouldn’t respond.

I got Lume because I really enjoyed Agent A and The Silent Age. They also have great graphics, but their control response is fabulous and activating objects works very well, unlike Lume that requires excessive and what feels like unnecessary tapping and things still don’t work. Perhaps it’s user error on my part. I’ll just replay the other two previously mentioned games again, because they are what I was hoping Lume would be similar to.

### 1/5 — No

*2018-10-02, version 1.6.5*

Awkward. When stuck, no help. Deleted due to repeated efforts and no progress.

### 1/5 — Not revolutionary, barely cute

*2018-08-21, version 1.6.5*

Puzzles were merely interesting. I don’t care what some of the apologists are saying, the short gameplay is not worth the price. Seems this was a way to crowd fund for the next game.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Beautiful puzzle game!

*2026-06-30*

The unique art style and cute story make this one of the most memorable Point & Click games I’ve played. The difficulty level is absolutely perfect, and the puzzles are very fun to interact with. While short, this was a very memorable game that I will definitely revisit in the future!

### 5/5 — Worth it

*2026-01-02*

No ads or nothing, but the game is so short it basically feels like a demo to buy lume city. Puzzles are somewhat straightforward and just take a little thought to beat each one.

### 5/5 — Beautiful and fun

*2024-12-29, version 1.6.5*

We loved this game. It was beautiful and clever and we had a lot of fun completing its admittedly hard at times puzzles.

### 5/5 — Perfeito!

*2022-09-19*

A versão é gratuita e oferece um ótimo tempo de jogabilidade. Gráfico e trilha sonora encantadores e puzzle interessante.

### 5/5 — Here’s the thing

*2022-07-23, version 1.6.5*

So how to start? Well it’s an amazing game and really challenges you but there is a small bug. WHEN YOU GET OUT OF THE GAME IT REMOVES ALL YOUR PROGRESS!!!!! And I got so far just to figure out: ALL OF IT IS GONE. So please fix this bug because it’s really annoying. :)

### 5/5 — Good game

*2020-10-18, version 1.6.5*

It’s a great game

### 5/5 — more please!!

*2019-11-11*

An Absolutely beautiful little gem, wish ppl wud stop any negativity as I'd pay double the price for a game like this with such character. I echo every word written by the reviewer “someone took my nickname’” your hilarious but perceptive review made me chuckle, I’m glad there are still those of us that appreciate hardwork and originality and that it costs money!

### 5/5 — Looks great but...

*2019-07-17, version 1.6.5*

Can't get inside. Animation is adorable but way too hard for me.

### 5/5 — MoRe CoNtEnT

*2019-03-19*

👏we 👏 want 👏 more 👏 content 👏

### 5/5 — Beautifully done

*2019-01-18, version 1.6.5*

Game looks amazing and the puzzles are decently difficult.
