## What is LUMEN?

One thumb. One rule. Flip gravity and thread the gap.

LUMEN is a neon arcade game about a single decision made over and over, faster and faster: fall up, or fall down. Chain gates without touching one and the world slips into slow motion — that is flow, and it is the whole reason to keep going.

WHAT IS IN IT
• 13 game modes. The corridor turns, mirrors, darkens, or only shows you a gate a heartbeat before it arrives.
• 20 worlds, each of which changes one rule — not just the colour. A tide that breathes the corridor. A world where every flip is heavier.
• A daily challenge: the same course for everyone, everywhere, every day.
• Signatures — what your flip, your flow and your death look like. The rarest one cannot be bought at any price; you earn it with a 70 chain.
• Four languages, a colour-vision palette, reduced-motion support, and full one-handed play.

HOW IT IS BUILT
No banners. No interstitials. No ad ever interrupts a run. The only ads are rewarded videos you go looking for: tap "watch for shards" in the shop, or take the offer to continue a run that has already ended. Skip every one of them and nothing in the game closes to you.

No loot boxes. No countdown timers designed to make you anxious. The shop sells looks, and it also sells shields and slows if you want them — earned with shards you can play for, or buy outright if you would rather not. A set never charges you twice for a piece you already own, and the rarest signature in the game cannot be bought at any price.

Plays offline. Small enough to download on a bad connection.

*2026-08-26*

I love this game, it’s like a flip on flappy bird, and the different game modes are fun as well. Also not needing internet is probably the best thing about this game💪🏼🔥

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-01

WORLDS THAT MOVE
Every world used to paint its scenery once and then hold still for the whole run. Three new ones do not.
FOUNDRY - a rolling mill. A flywheel turns, gears mesh, a belt runs, and presses stamp. A gate can only enter the corridor on a stamp, so the machine tells you exactly when the next one is coming.
SALTGLARE - noon on a salt flat. The heat bends the far half of the corridor, so a distant gate is drawn where the air says it is. Get close and the lie runs out.
MURMURFEN - a flooded fen under a murmuration. The flock gathers while your flow refills and scatters while you burn it: the sky is the fuel gauge the game never drew.

SHARE A DAY, NOT JUST A SCORE
A shared card now says which Daily you played, what that day's twist was, and how long your streak is - with a link that drops a friend straight into the same run.
A NEW WAY TO PLAY: HOLD
Keep a finger down and slide it up and down - the orb follows it, and you thread the gaps by hand instead of by timing. Let go and gravity takes over. The world runs fast and never slows, and the openings stagger instead of queueing up in a line.

THREE NEW WORLDS
ASHRISE - Cappadocia an hour before sunrise: balloons going up behind a ridge of stone chimneys, sparks rising instead of dust, and a corridor where nothing sits still. Every opening floats upward.
MATCHDAY - a floodlit night match. Pylons, a stand full of phone screens, and stripes mown into the grass. Die here and the revive becomes a VAR check: buy the review and the decision comes back GOAL.
EVENT HORIZON - something has already eaten the rest of the sky. Everything falls inward, and it falls heavy.

ALOFT: ALTITUDE IS THE THROTTLE
Fly high and the wind carries the world past faster and pays more; drop low and it all slows down. The wind is visible, audible, and it pushes.

THE WORLDS FINALLY LOOK DIFFERENT
Every world now colours its own gates, so choosing one changes the thing you spend the whole run looking at - not just the sky behind it. The shop shows real frames of each world instead of a colour strip, with the rules each one changes written on the card.

FIXED: buying a set from the SETS filter did nothing at all, and a successful purchase could end on "not enough shards". A completed set can now be put back on in one tap.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-28

GENTLER STILL ON THE EASIER SETTINGS
The first pass was not enough: the orb still travelled too fast up and down. VERY EASY and EASY are now about a third slower vertically, and the gates are spaced further apart to pay for it, so a slower orb still has time to reach the next opening. Both stay more forgiving than NORMAL. Gravity is untouched everywhere, so a tap answers exactly as fast as it always did.

THE SHOP SHOWS THE WORLD YOU ACTUALLY GET
Every world's card drew its gates in that world's own colour, but the game draws gates in the danger colour in every world — so the shop was promising a green or blue world and handing over a red one. The cards now show what you will really see, and each world's own colour has moved to the corridor edge, where the game puts it.

THE GAME TELLS YOU WHEN THERE IS A NEW VERSION
An installed copy had no way to know an update existed. Now it says so when you open it.

Sakura Night and Alleycat: a sunset over Fuji with a torii on the water and real blossom, and a cat that blinks, flicks its tail and mews every time you flip.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-28

GENTLER ON THE EASIER SETTINGS
Players said the orb whipped between the walls too fast. VERY EASY and EASY now cap how fast it can travel — the openings and the spacing between gates are exactly as they were, and gravity is untouched, so a tap still answers instantly. NORMAL gets a smaller version of the same. HARD is unchanged.

YOUR BEST SCORE REACHES THE BOARD
Two separate faults kept personal bests off the leaderboard without ever saying so. Both are fixed, and opening the board now settles any difference between what your device knows and what the board holds.

REWARDED ADS ANSWER IMMEDIATELY
The ad is fetched before you ask for it instead of after, and a fetch that comes back empty is retried rather than giving up for the rest of the session.

SOUND COMES BACK
Leaving the game while an ad is playing no longer silences it until you restart.

Also fixed: continuing with an ad could resume a run that had already ended.
