## What is Lumenfoil?

Plan a stained glass pattern before you cut.

Start with Sunrise Poppy, five free mandalas or the weekly featured design. Change colors and textures, adjust piece shapes and finished dimensions, and review difficult cuts. On iPhone, a color palette sits below your pattern so you can keep drawing while you choose colors.

Save versions to compare ideas or return to an earlier design. Estimate materials using your own rates and allowances. PNG previews and outline coloring sheets are free. Your projects stay on your device, and no account is required.

Lumenfoil Pro adds new blank canvases, six more mandala designs, a custom mandala creator, tiled PDFs for printing at actual size on Letter or A4 paper, and editable SVG files. Monthly and annual subscriptions are available through Apple. Your saved work stays accessible without Pro.

Cutability Check provides planning guidance, not a safety or fabrication guarantee. Review every pattern before cutting. Material estimates depend on your rates and allowances, not live shop prices.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.1 — 2026-10-05

You can now choose whether to allow ad measurement in Settings. Your choice does not affect the tools, saved patterns, or your subscription.

### 2.0 — 2026-10-01

Build mandalas with quick repeat controls, move pieces into place, and recolor matching shapes together. The updated canvas works on iPhone and iPad, with material estimates close at hand while you design.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-28

Choose from five free mandalas and a weekly featured design, or try six more designs with Pro.

On iPhone, change colors directly below the canvas without opening the piece details panel. A hands-on welcome screen lets you try coloring before you begin.

Creating a new blank canvas now requires Pro. Existing saved drawings remain editable without a subscription.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-27

Try the included mandala templates and export outline coloring sheets. Save named versions of your patterns and return to them later. Set your own material prices and waste allowances. Pro subscribers can create custom mandalas.

This update also improves the first-run experience and layouts on smaller screens.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-23

Clearer controls and less text throughout the app. Export guidance now matches your chosen format. Material estimates and open pattern checks are easier to understand.
