Do NOT upgrade! Features that were there last year were taken away. Not my idea of an improvement, plus, you are right back to step one. App rarely opens to the home page and there is no way to get out of “looking for strand” page, so, if you want to turn it on or off, put on your slippers, you will be heading outside. ### 3/5 — Does what I need it to *2019-11-22, version 2.2.1* There’s a few missing features from when these were foray released. IE. you can’t set them to music and there’s no timer. Mine still turn on at 7pm automatically but I have to manually turn them off which is a big pain because you have to be really close to the Bluetooth box to connect, so it would be just as easy to plug/unplug them myself everyday. ### 2/5 — Why in the world would you get rid of the music option?!? *2019-11-09, version 2.2.1* We really liked these lights. But that was mainly because we could set them to music. Now the lights are basically useless. I am not going to get on a ladder every time to plug them in to turn them on and off. If I could return them I would. That was the whole reason I bought the lights in the first place. Big disappointment ### 1/5 — Sometimes works, but a pain in the a…. *2022-12-20, version 2.2.1* These lights were on sale at my local hardware store, 24 lights for 24.99 (former price $85))). I bought two strings, then added a third. They worked for awhile - you can make and store your own patterns - but after a few days the controller started dropping the connection and the lights now blink randomly. Patterns will work until you change your phone screen, then it’s chaos. There have been no app upgrades for a few years, not a good sign. I think these are going back to the store. ### 1/5 — Terrible 🤦🏽‍♀️ *2022-11-27, version 2.2.1* Hi, i was going to download this app because i searched up on safari “what app can i download to change the color of my LED lights?” And this popped up it looked cool so i downloaded it it took 1 second to download which i was surprised and went on to it and i didn’t have to sign up or anything, but i had to turn on Bluetooth. Totally fine! I clicked on a color and it didn’t work. I clicked help and it said to unplug my LED lights then plug them back in. So i did. Didn’t work. For some unknown reason they removed the the on / off timer... now you have to individually connect and turn on each strand at night and turn off each strand before bed. A conventional timer and extension cords may work like normal lights but... wait for it... THESE LIGHTS ARE RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE!! Also, there’s not as many color choices as you might think. I would like for y’all to please add the music feature back. And maybe also add some more effects options for the lights as well! We have fun changing our custom scenes almost daily and there are plenty of different effects. Please PLEASE bring back the timer function and the music feature. We chose these lights over other brands specifically because of the “dancing lights” capability. That was truly special. ### 4/5 — Almost perfect *2017-10-24, version 2.2.0* Love the control. Easy to set up. The only thing that is missing is a deep purple. When you choose purple from the color picker it goes to a bright white-ish purple. Instead of a rich purple. I can get all other colors fine. Just not purple. Hopefully that can be fixed with an update.
