Me and my husband are in our early 60s. Lumi News is user friendly for us to use either when we use our phones or tablet. It’s definitely suitable for all ages. We appreciate the layout, loading speed is fast, adjustable texts (useful for aunties like me), and an even option to turn off ads for certain publishers.

I really like this app and it really curates all the news into one place and i can continue reading from multiple news sources. However, the only issue I had was this, whenever there’s a banner notification on some news which I am interested in, it doesn’t point to the news directly, instead it leads to the app.

Suddenly the screen became all white when i am still reading the news using luminews apps… i am using iphone13 pro max but it seems this app is not compatible wth iphone… just makes me feeling disgusted with this app

Navigation a bit laggy. Keep pop up the message “something is wrong” then the page refresh. Can’t really proceed reading further. Need improvement on the technical side.

Every time I open a page, the page keep moving up and down which I believe due to ads loading somewhere in the page.

I had to keep searching back and forth the place I'm reading and this is so annoying.

I'm going to remove the app first until it fix.

Edit: Still an issue after latest update.
1. Receive iOS article notification
2. Tap on notification
3. Lumi loads, shows Lumi logo splash screen
4. Goes to main page instead of the article

One issue that keeps me from frequently using this news app is, tapping the notification does not lead to the article page, which can be very annoying. What I mean is, every time a notification of a news shows up on my iPhone, if I find it interesting I’d tap the notification and expect it to bring me to the article for me to read. But nope, I’d say 8-9 of out 10 times it just brings me to the news feeds and the article is nowhere to be seen. There are other areas that can use some improvement but knowing this is a rather new news app I’d give it time to bring new improvements. Hope the notification issue can be looked into.
