In my experience, it is extremely difficult to cancel a subscription. The "Manage Membership" link in the app does not load, making it impossible to cancel through the provided method. Despite multiple attempts to contact customer support by email and phone, I have not received a response or been able to resolve the issue. Meanwhile, my account continues to be charged automatically. To start, the UX was incredibly clunky, making it very hard to garner any meaningful styling guidance. Further, the process of attempting to use the points to purchase clothing was completely opaque and I actually think that may have been intentional. Given this lack of value, I canceled my account, but not before I was charged twice so I ended up with “points” to use for purchasing clothes. Every time I tried, it was a frustrating experience and, as a busy person, I’d need to move on before having success. When I finally reached out to CS for assistance (prior to my credits expiring), I was erroneously told how to make the purchase, only to have the same “rep” come back to apologize for giving me outdated instructions and then informing me that the purchasing feature had been completely removed from the offering - then telling me to “reach back out” to inquire with CS. Made no sense and likely was AI slop. Since then, I’ve asked for a refund for the fact that I was given bad information - that I could use the points for clothing purchases for up to a year after canceling - and because I’d received no notification that that feature was being pulled. I’ve been issued absurd reasoning as to why they can’t give me a refund. When I call out why the reason doesn’t hold up, they come up with a different reason why they can’t refund me. This is truly the worst app experience - in every way - that I’ve ever encountered. Total waste of money for absolutely zero return. Highly recommend avoiding this one. At best, very questionable. At worst, a full-on scam. ### 1/5 — Warning *2026-08-14, version 2.20.19* Please do not spend your money in this app, do not subscribe to this app. I’ve been very patient and lost out what I’ve put on this app monthly. Order was placed, PAID, then find out some items were not available, some items never came, got refunded for partial and then come to find out the point (my money) went back to this app, just receive an email stating that the shopping features are no longer available so the “points” which is my money is just sitting there. That’s $719. Thank goodness I’ve screened shot everything before they “updated their app. Now it shows I have nothing. ### 1/5 — Scam. Takes your subscription money, for no returned value *2026-08-05, version 2.20.18* Was told by LUMI you can no longer shop on the app, which is what they based the app’s service and profile (see the descriptions here). Paid for subscriptions which I can no longer use and they will not refund. App gave no notice of the change (in app banners, email, sms). Terrible experience. ### 1/5 — Totally wrong suggestions *2026-07-23, version 2.20.18* I’m an inverted triangle and this app suggested blazers with structured shoulders and defined waist instead of flattering raglan sleeves and not overly tight silhouettes. Such suggestions would make an inverted triangles even more disproportionate! Total disappointment, will be applying for the refund. ### 1/5 — Hidden Fees *2026-07-22, version 2.20.18* This is a horrible app if you are not looking to spend $200 a month. They only let you use a portion of your balance so you are stuck with them. The claim is personalization, but the reality is very basic general advice. The app forces you wait 24 hours between each “lesson” so that you can’t access all the relevant information right away. Probably so you end up stuck in a subscription. The app is also super glitchy with pictures missing. Often the outfit in the picture doesn’t match the links to buy, which defeats the entire purpose. When I have tried to buy items, that process also doesn’t work, charging my card without completing the purchase.
