## What is Lumia?

Exclusively for Lumia™ members with a Lumia in-ear wearable device.

The Lumia™ Program helps you track daily symptoms and see how they line up with your Flow and Heart Rate patterns over time. If you experience dizziness or lightheadedness and want to understand your day-to-day patterns better, Lumia gives you a simple way to log what you're feeling and see it alongside your Flow data.

Lumia also lets you track lifestyle factors - like hydration, rest, and activity - for a fuller picture of what might be shaping your Flow and Heart Rate data.

Take control of your data by tracking consistently and learning from your own trends.

Please note:

Data displayed in the app is for informational and wellness tracking purposes only. Lumia's Flow Index is a proprietary relative index useful only for understanding your own day-to-day changes - it cannot be compared to another individual's data or to any clinical measurement standard. Lumia is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always talk to a qualified healthcare provider before making any changes based on what you track in the app.

TAKE A TOUR OF THE LUMIA™ APP

Let's start with the Home Page.
Here you'll see your Flow Index, a general day-to-day indicator that's unique to you and not meant to be compared across individuals or used as an absolute measurement.

Next, log today's symptoms in the Daily Journal. You may experience many symptoms - we recommend picking the ones that matter most to you to track over time.

This symptom journaling feature is all yours to control.

The Moments page is where your daily graphs live. We've built a pinchable, zoomable interface so you can look more closely at changes over time.

Lastly, your Profile is where you manage the things that don't change often: your name, personal details, and a journal of significant life events.

This is your Moment: it's time to start tracking your wellbeing with Lumia.

## Key features

- Symptom tracking
- Physiological data correlation

### 2/5 — Groundbreaking but Very Early/ Like a Beta

*2026-08-11*

Update to the update, reduced stars as the app’s accessibility continues to move in the wrong direction. Hoping future updates support the dysautonomia crowd this device was originally created for.

UPDATE: a year+ in and still unable to tag typical POTS/ chronic illness body positions, common POTS/OI symptoms, flow impacting events, or create custom tags. Tag requests have so far been ignored while “nice to have” features have been implemented, and helpful graph data has been removed, leaving us guessing how our flow averages change with body position. Why remove such a critical piece of information?

We continue to look forward to the core features being implemented (tagging to spot trends).

Hoping beyond hope that this company can remain successful in the competitive wearables market.

Previous: 5 stars for this groundbreaking step in the right direction. But incredibly early stage development, impacting functionality (basic body position tags and tags needed to test functionality are not available yet 6 months post launch, tags block data, removing all tags leaves you relying on memory as to the timeframes when looking at flow lines, battery dies unexpectedly, bugs on pre-release are not resolved before rolling out to the rest of users, etc).

Big changes with each update, so it’s a very exciting time, but definitely too early for those needing a plug and play situation.

### 5/5 — Amazing technology; still experimental

*2025-03-11*

I’ve been wearing one of the production-line Lumia devices for a few days now, and it’s already life-changing. I have hEDS, vague dysautonomia and cranio-cervical instability. I’ve told people before that “I think I don’t have enough blood in my brain today,” but never had anything more explicit than that.

Now I do, and that knowledge means that when blood flow gets low - I can DO something about it!!

Drink electrolytes; put on compression; do some PT; wear a back brace; lay on the floor a while - it all helps. And now I can see it helping in real time.

This deserves 5 stars because it is truly life-changing technology. I feel like I have a plan for managing my health for the first time. But fair warning to people that it’s still early, experimental and fiddly. Bugs I’ve dealt with:

1. Poor and inconsistent syncing behavior, resulting in having to restart the app several times a day.
2. Strange bugs in the chart UI that make lines disappear, or connect the wrong set of dots.
3. I can only sync when I’m within 20 feet of my plugged-in light station - so no data when out and about. (Direct to iPhone sync is supposed to be coming, I hear?)
4. Battery life estimation is way off - I thought I had plenty, turned on Live Mode and it suddenly flipped off and needed a charge.

Despite all of that, it was 100% worth the two years of wait. I literally wouldn’t have this data otherwise, and as I’ve learned - it’s absolutely critical to my well-being.

Thanks y’all for working so hard on this project. I know this device is the first of its kind, which makes pulling this off all the more difficult. I’m really impressed.

### 5/5 — Groundbreaking but Very Early

*2025-02-25*

5 stars for this groundbreaking step in the right direction. But incredibly early stage development, impacting functionality (tags needed are not available yet, tags block data, removing all tags removes heart rate and flow line, can’t always see battery details, etc).

Big changes with each update, so it’s a very exciting time, but may be too early for those needing a plug and play situation.

### 5/5 — I love my Lumia!

*2024-10-31*

It’s been so amazing to see my flow vs my symptoms. I feel validated and it’s great to be able to track so many things in one app! I love the symptoms tracker with SO many options! Thanks Lumia!

### 1.29.0 — 2026-09-02

Steadier syncing, smoother screens

Background syncing holds up better on a weak connection, and a round of fixes cleans up Live Mode and sign-in.

New
• You can add your Flow Index to your iPhone lock screen.
• You can add your earpiece battery level to your iPhone lock screen.

Improvements
• Syncing pauses cleanly when you leave the app and picks up where it left off, instead of holding the connection open.
• When your earpiece drops its connection, Lumia now waits before trying again instead of retrying constantly, which saves battery.

Fixes
• Text in popups now uses the app's normal styling instead of falling back to a debug style.
• The Live Mode button no longer keeps pulsing after you dismiss the lesson that pointed you to it.
• Sign-in no longer jumps as you move between entering your email and your code.
• The Live Mode countdown now closes on its own when the session ends.
• Symptom check-ins during a Gravity Challenge no longer stack up after you come back to the app.
• Starting Live Mode no longer draws a second window with duplicate lines over the first.
• The plus button on the Moments graph now opens the same Add menu as the rest of the app.
• Dates in the calendar no longer sit off-centre or get cut off when you hold your phone sideways.
• The handle at the top of your profile now stays in place while the page scrolls.
• The Moments mini graph now labels late-night hours correctly after midnight.
• Tapping a notification no longer leaves the app stuck in the wrong screen orientation.
• The Home screen now keeps a consistent gap above the top bar instead of sitting flush against the edge.

### 1.28.0 — 2026-08-10

What's new in 1.28.0

NEW
- Lumia Flow widget — add the new home screen widget to see your latest Flow Index and Typical Zone at a glance. It refreshes automatically as new readings sync, and shows "Tap to sync" when the data is a couple of hours old so you always know what you're looking at.
- Moments in landscape — turn your phone sideways on the Moments graph for a wider view of your day.

IMPROVED
- Faster app launch, with a refreshed splash and welcome experience.
- Smoother Moments graphs: less lag while scrolling, and a filter list that scrolls so every metric stays reachable.
- More dependable background syncing. Your Lumia reconnects and catches up on missed data more reliably, including after being powered off or out of range.
- Better support for Reduce Transparency and larger display sizes.

FIXED
- Graph time labels now land on :00 and :30 instead of :29 and :59.
- The last flow date on Moments now matches your home screen.
- The back gesture and exit button work again on the Moments graph after a Gravity Challenge.

- Fixed a home screen Flow card that could show data shifted by a day.
- Password reset now handles email addresses more reliably.
