This version is about one thing: what you record stays where you put it.

We fixed a problem that could make a video disappear while it was uploading. It should never have happened, and we're sorry if it happened to you. Now, if the network misbehaves, Lumideo quietly tries again before giving up.

Lumideo was also taking up more space on your phone than it needed to, holding on to copies of videos nobody needed any more. Now it cleans up after itself.

We fixed the player, which could freeze when you went back after opening a capsule.

And the email verification notice no longer shows up at launch before we've actually checked.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-09-07

You'd send a capsule, and then, silence.

Now you know when the person who received it opened it. And on every capsule you'll find the exact day it unsealed.

Also: search for a word in the message or in your own notes, the app answers your touch better, and the freeze that could happen after a video is fixed.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-09-04

A capsule doesn't end when you open it.

Now you'll find the message from whoever sent it, right there with the video. And you can add a note of your own: what it made you think, where you were when you watched it.

Also: search your contacts when you send a capsule, clearer notifications, and various fixes.

When you create a capsule for someone who isn't on Lumideo yet, the app now helps you make sure it actually reaches them — by suggesting you send a quick direct message too. Because an email from a stranger gets ignored. A message from you doesn't.
A few fixes for large text sizes, and some polish throughout.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-10

very capsule holds a real moment. Now the numbers in your stats hold them accurately too — we fixed a mismatch that was showing different counts between your profile and your statistics. Everything lines up now.

And something new: if you've received a promo code, you can redeem it directly in the app to unlock premium access. A way to receive — or give — the gift of Lumideo.
