Often fail to accurately detect activity with random exclamation marks claiming that there was a “manual entry” when there was not any. Twice the app crashed and would not reopen. Even after a hard boot. Had to reinstall, both times I lost my activity progress! ### 1/5 — Horrible Upgrade - SKIP IT!!! *2023-08-26, version 3.0.2* I have been a long-time user of the old version (5+ years?) since it launched. I was prompted to upgrade to this version a few weeks ago and I have been regretting ever since. This version is horrendous because: - Not as fun and engaging in terms of design - You earn far fewer points daily that could be redeemed as cashable vouchers - Fewer missions which can also earn you vouchers If they wish to have fewer veteran users like me, then Lumi team has done an awesome job. My advice? Existing users - DO NOT UPGRADE New users - DON’T BOTHER with this waste of an app App Developer! When replacing a 4-year old app, did you do sufficient user research with your existing users to validate the new design?!? ### 1/5 — This new app is JUST BAD *2023-08-15, version 3.0.2* This revised app is a total opposite of the retired app. Bad idea to rehaul everything. This new app makes the whole program even harder to earn rewards now. Also no more cute animated “lumi mascot” nor map to show your progress. Totally not motivated to use this app anymore. ### 1/5 — Disincentivise active lifestyle *2023-08-12, version 3.0.2* Would be - stars if there was such an option. The retired app encourages one to be constantly more active, with higher activity translating into more rewards. The current app, does the direct opposite and encourages one to do less, as even if you do more you are still stuck at 300 coins max a week! Users on iOS 17 cannot access their coins ### 1/5 — Lumi servers down? *2025-10-21, version 5.0* As of 21 October 2025 I’m unable to connect to server. App fully updated. Tried on WiFi and 5G. Tried reinstalling. Helpppp I’ve been nerfed!! ### 1/5 — Coins Expire Without Warning *2025-10-01, version 4.2.0* I received a notification today, saying that my coins expire today and I should redeem them. I immediately logged into the app, but the coins have already expired. I emailed HPB about it, they claimed “Please be informed that you received three notifications regarding your expiring coins: one 14 days before the expiration, another 7 days before, and a final notification on the day the rewards expire.” I replied that I only received the last notification, and only AFTER THE COINS EXPIRED, and HPB stopped replying me. Please don’t waste your time with this app. Unlike Healthy365 where everyone is participating and there is a higher level of scrutiny, LumiHealth will just expire your coins without warning so HPB don’t have to pay out the rewards they promised. ### 1/5 — App can’t open *2025-07-22, version 4.2.0* Opens to the purple page and stays there forever ### 1/5 — Does not record workouts! *2025-07-05, version 4.1.0* I’ve trouble shoot as much as I can but the app still fails to record any workouts i’ve done. If this is not fixed, what’s the point of the app? I hope devs would fix this problem. The first version even though simple but functional. Since the upgrade I believe it has lost its majority audience. Sad it see it reaching to such a stage with poor reviews yet no improvement. ### 5/5 — LumiHealth “upgrade” is in reality a downgrade *2023-11-15, version 3.0.2* Since the “ upgrade”, I have not been able to open the app most of the time. I have been advised to delete and upload. Tried that several time but to no avail. As a result, I have difficulties logging in to choose quests and not been able to redeem the vouchers. It’s frustrating. If possible, do not “upgrade” ### 4/5 — I love Lumihealth… but please bring back Lumi!! *2023-08-02, version 3.0.1* Lumihealth is great and I love turning my activity into HPB vouchers, but I miss Lumi! I understand the new app looks way cooler but Lumi doesn’t seem to be as front and centre anymore and I miss the lil guy 🥺 ### 4/5 — good :) but sad :( *2023-08-02, version 3.0.1* systems and performance wise, this is 10x better. no lag at all, runs really smooth. however, i miss the animated feeling of actually playing a game, where you do little things to hit your goal, and you see the little droplet move forward. its quite sad to see something that was so vibrant and motivating, fall into the traps of minimalistic design. i hope we will get more colour soon, some fun trinkets, or add the lil guy into the bar or something 😭 ### 3/5 — Workout not synced *2025-06-03, version 4.1.0* Since the recent update, LumiHealth did not sync my workout. It is able to capture the 3 goals and my Activity App is working. The devices have been turned on and off, uninstalled and reinstalled but still did not work. ### 2/5 — Workout is not reflected in app *2025-02-02, version 4.0.0* Since the 25 Jan 2025 update, the workout I do is not reflected in the app. It was previously working very well.
