Super Powers For Your Eyes! Lumin is an electronic magnifying glass for your iPhone or iPod. Not only does it magnify items, it can also keep a running history of images and can save or share these images with your friends via e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Locked images can be magnified 10 times, or even more with ideal lighting, and can also be automatically mirrored to your Dropbox account. Lumin also controls the camera flash on your device, so you can illuminate and magnify dark, hard-to-reach places with ease. Update 06-2019 Abandoned app, what a shame App takes photos and saves them to the tray in a bizarre order. That’s it. It’s all but dead, what a pity, abandoned app, no updates for years. Too bad. It is an elegant “magnifying glass” utility that does the job extremely well. Whenever I share an image I’ve captured, it invariably draws raves and I get asked how I took such an amazing close up. Please keep this wonderful utility updated and available. I dread the day when I upgrade my phone or OS and Lumin stops working. In fact I’m writing this review after thinking about how to support the developers and encouraging them to keep this app updated. Thank you again for creating such a useful application! Update: Lumin now shows “Failed with error - 11852 Cannot use Back Camera”. I haven’t used Lumin in a few months so am very sad that it has stopped working in iOS 12.3 on my iPhone 7+. ### 1/5 — Buyer Beware *2019-05-21, version 3.0* NO LONGER WORKS Does not work on iOS 12 or iPhone Xr. All that displays is a black screen. If you read the 1 star ratings, you can see many people have this complaint. Have used this program for years and it was on my favorite apps list. Does not look like it has been updated since 2014. The developer has had plenty of time to update this app, but has not done so.
