## What is Luminariah?

Luminariah is a semi-idle fantasy MMORPG you can play in short bursts or long sessions. Your character keeps fighting even after you close the app, so progress never stops.

SEMI-IDLE, SERVER-SIDE COMBAT
The moment you attack, the fight is live on the server. Lock your phone, switch characters, or close the app entirely and the battle keeps going. When you return, you collect what you earned while away, up to a 24-hour window. Your potions are the budget: every kill costs one, so progress is paced, not infinite.

FOUR CLASSES
Play a Warrior, Mage, Rogue, or Paladin. Each has nine skills plus a signature multiplier skill, its own playstyle, and its own gear path across four equipment tiers, from Common to Nightmare.

GUILDS, RAIDS & CASTLE SIEGE
Join a guild, fill the vault, and take on ten tiers of guild raids. Descend into Hades for eight-player dungeons and sixteen-player raids at level 50 and up. Fight for the crown in Castle Siege, a 72-hour guild-versus-guild war across six towers.

TEN PROFESSIONS
Fish, mine, smelt, gather herbs, cook, brew alchemy, craft keys, work as an Artificer, cut jewelry, and practice Occultation with grimoires and seals. Gather, craft, and supply your own gear and consumables.

A REAL PLAYER ECONOMY
Trade with other players on the Grand Bazaar with fixed-price listings and live auctions. Eight in-game currencies, deep crafting, and refinement, remorph, and reroll systems give every item a long upgrade path.

PETS & PROGRESSION
Manifest a spirit pet that grants passive stats and farms Soul Essence. Chase 40+ achievement categories and titles, rotating daily, weekly, and monthly challenges, quest scrolls, and selectable daily buffs.

PVP
Climb the ranked ladder with an ELO rating and spend PvP energy to prove your build against real opponents.

CROSS-PLATFORM
One account, one world. Luminariah runs on iPhone, iPad, and in the browser, and your character travels with you.

A NOTE ON PURCHASES
Luminariah is free to play. Diamonds and optional subscriptions are available as in-app purchases and can speed up progression, but the full game is playable without spending. Some purchases and in-game systems involve randomized rewards; the odds for every random mechanic are disclosed in-game before you commit and at luminariah.com/odds.

### 5/5 — So much fun at a relaxed pace!

*2026-08-16*

This game is basically my dream game. It’s an old school loot and gear up RPG with modern graphics and a fun community. The two devs are on discord with us all the time taking feedback and implementing changes. The game doesn’t take a bunch of your time or money. It’s very F2P friendly. I absolutely love it.

### 5/5 — Beautiful Game

*2026-08-09*

This game is visually appealing as well as very engaging. You can put in as little or as much time as you want. While there are purchase options in game I have not spent a dime and I have kept up with everyone no problem.

Additionally while it’s a new game and all new games have bugs the Devs have been very proactive in getting them taken care of and also listening to suggestions from players as well.

If you are looking for a semi idle game to play in your free time this one should be it.

### 5/5 — Great potential, brand new!

*2026-08-08, version 1.0.1*

Says 12 years old but it was just released in august 2026. The developer(s) are smart and hardworking, creating a game from player input that’s constantly being upgraded and tweaked. Fast progression and a friendly community. Can’t wait to see what they do with it!

### 5/5 — Absolutely Hooked!!

*2026-08-06*

I haven’t stopped playing since launch. The core loop is genuinely addictive — constantly hunting new equipment, dropping your line deeper for bigger fish, always something pulling you back in.

PvP actually feels rewarding here, which is rare. The Sphere system was a great surprise when I first ran into it. World bosses are a blast too — please add more!

The pet system is a highlight for me — collecting and leveling them never gets old. And having Hades functional and accessible from early levels is huge; being able to run dungeons and raids for gear that early keeps progression exciting from the start.

Overall: 11/10, easy recommend

### 1/5 — Disappointing game all around.

*2026-08-04*

Heavy use of Ai and subscription models that make the game quite pay to win.

The highest tier is a yearly subscription of $300. That’s $25 a month just to compete and play the game on even footing with others who opt into the founders tier.

Heavy use of AI in nearly all aspects of the game. Even character creation uses AI to generate character profile picture so the game limits you to 10 total tries every day.

I was told this game would be a great Corah alternative but it’s somehow more p2w than Corah.

The game is also just not fully working. If you’re gonna charge a subscription to play at least push a stable game to the market.

I hate having to leave a negative review on a game from this tiny community of people but this is not it my fiend.

In short: heavy use of AI, overly expensive p2w subscription costs, and a buggy release make this an easy pass.

### 5/5 — Best Mobile Game Ever

*2026-08-04*

This is hands down the best mobile game I’ve ever played! F2P friendly, limited screen time friendly, and sleep schedule friendly.

### 5/5 — Amaze Amaze

*2026-08-03*

Having a great time. Very interactive devs making a fun community game. Play a solo character or run your own squad of heroes! Glad to be on the ground floor

### 5/5 — This game will get you hooked

*2026-08-03, version 1.0.1*

I’ve been having a lot of fun with Luminariah so far. It has a really nice mix of semi-idle combat, gear management, and long-term progression that makes it easy to play in short bursts but still gives you plenty to work toward when you have more time.

The offline progression is especially nice you can close the game and your character keeps fighting, then come back later to collect your progress. At the same time, the potion system keeps progression from feeling completely mindless or unlimited, so you still have to manage your resources.

There’s also a lot more depth beyond the combat, with four different classes, multiple gear tiers, professions, crafting, refining, rerolling, pets, achievements, PvP, guild raids, dungeons, and large-scale Castle Siege battles. The player-driven economy and Grand Bazaar are a cool addition too, giving you another reason to gather materials and craft instead of simply relying on drops.

Overall, it feels like a great blend of idle progression and traditional MMORPG systems. There’s enough automation to respect your time, but enough customization, resource management, crafting, and multiplayer content to keep you actively invested. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy games where you can progress while away but still have plenty of things to actively manage and chase when you’re online.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.7 — 2026-09-15

Hades Implements
Ten professions now have tools: Mining, Herbology, Fishing, Smelting, Cooking, Alchemy, Keysmithing, Artificer, Occultation and Scroll Merging. Tools drop from Hades claims, weighted toward the professions you play, and stay Dormant until you attune them with gold. An attuned tool raises what its profession pays and the experience it gives, with a perk of its own: longer gathering, extra fishing casts, a higher dust roll, free crafts, kept fish, key upgrades and more. The Hades Forge turns four tools of a rung into one, usually a rung higher, with Etched modifiers, a Diamond Safeguard and the Reliquary at the top. Reforge moves a tool to another trade and keeps everything else. And one Fishing tool sits above them all.

Gems and Hades
Fuse All fuses every full set of gems in one press, and a Break switch turns Greater Gems back into gems and gems into chips. Gems sell by grade. Luminance Fragments sit on one ladder on the Hades Score tab, bag and stash counted together, with batch fusing and roll buttons that tell you when a tier cannot beat your stat. Stacks of Hades Material Caches open all at once.

World Boss
Everyone who fought their share walks away with Epic gear or better. Some bosses now fight as fully animated creatures. The Info button opens a proper fight guide.

Also
Jewelry above tier 250 costs materials as well as Soul Essence. Refinement rungs wake on kills up to six levels under the item. Odds and info popups read the same way everywhere, scroll, and use plainer words. Every profession tab has its own scene.

Fixes
The Brace button no longer hides your Class Moment after someone else takes the strike. A World Boss kill no longer takes away Daily Blessing Restore. Nightmare fights open right on zero. Item values match what vendors pay. The Execute description is accurate. The World Boss banner survives a character switch.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-10

The World Boss Awakens
The World Boss is now a scheduled, server-wide fight, twice a day. The call goes out half an hour before, the boss room opens, and everyone who answers fights together. Your hits are measured against your own level, so a level 40 and a level 240 push the bar the same. The boss drains your potions instead of your HP, turns to single challengers for Class Moments (Shatter, Combustion, Backstab, Consecration), and strikes on a clock you can Brace against. Everyone who really fought gets the same reward: Event Tokens, a gem of your own level band, a gear roll at your level and the boss's own four hour blessing. Bane titles, fastest kill records, a boss room chat, a victory screen and a rebuilt Event shop round it out. And some bosses are not finished with you: Keysmithing has learned a new recipe, something small and strange falls out of a kill now and then, and a Nightmare drops one weapon for one person in the room.

The Hades Rework
Every clear pays whole Gems of your own level band, scaled by tier, and you pick which band your guaranteed Gem comes from. Bringing real people adds drop rolls for everyone; hired helpers add nothing and now cost gold plus a token. Beat a dungeon's soft rating for a premium roll. Every 100 points of a Hades Score channel is a permanent floor, the Luminance Anchor replaces Secure Roll, and five fragments fuse into one of the next tier. Tiers 4 and up are finally reachable. Four Legendary six-piece class sets and Soulforged weapons with three open sockets drop from level 250. Chrono Runs let a room finish a dungeon across a day, each of you on your own login.

Grimoires and Seals
Satchels open two ways: Open for a Seal, or Gamble for a book. A fresh Grimoire has no Base Roll until your first seal, which also asks which stat it feeds: EXP Bonus, Quest EXP, Drop Chance or Crit Damage. Archetypes lift their own seal category. Seals now stack by category and tier, roll their percent when inscribed, and the seal pick is a proper card. Any book salvages into Occult Dust.

Daily Rewards
A 30 day ladder in the Collections tray with the whole calendar visible from Day 1. Gems, runes, tablets, dust, dishes, brews and boost tokens, Diamonds on Days 7, 14, 21 and 30, and a Legendary Arsenal Cache on Day 30. Two skips a cycle.

Notifications
One character per phone gets your notifications, with that character's toggles and quiet hours; pick who on the Notifications screen. The World Boss call is on by default. Android notifications work for the first time, a phone that cannot register says so, and a phone shared by two accounts follows the last one to sign in.

Forge, Gems and Jewelry
Rings and amulets refine and transfer for real. The gem ladder reaches level 900 with seven new stones. Jewelry Crafting reaches 950 with six new material families. Boss kills wake dormant refinement rungs four times faster. Boost Tokens stack.

Also
Relic Shards became Ancient Coins that drop straight into your wallet, with your old balances kept as progress. A daily Void Reliquary box. Login greetings for Legendary subscribers and Founders. A maintenance screen with your local reopen time. Build version in Settings. Nightmare weapons and Seals wear their own art.

Fixes
Auto-sold loot counts toward Merchant's Day. Diamonds update the moment you claim. Invites are no longer refused for rude-looking ids. Menagerie Keeper and God Walking Amongst Mere Peasants are finishable. Published refinement, reroll and cache odds match what the game rolls. Hades claims wait for your Gem choices. Forge actions no longer stall while farming. Sealed books stop swallowing fresh ones. Stale toasts and the jumping boss on mobile are gone.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-26

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-15

Castle Siege, Party Attunements, and a big Forge upgrade

CASTLE SIEGE
Seasons now run on a fixed schedule: every Thursday 8PM Central for 72 hours. No more guessing when siege opens.
Attack in batches: x1, x5, or All in one tap instead of twenty.
Commander's Insignia (top-10 PvP reward) actually refills Attack Stamina now.
Towers renamed to match their art, and a new in-app guide explains how siege works.

PARTY ATTUNEMENTS
The Sanctuary's blessings are gone. In their place, five party-wide Attunements any member can claim and power up by fighting.
Party XP is now earned from real kills, live or offline.
Party leaders can hand off leadership.

PVP
Matchmaking now keeps you near your own level instead of pairing you against wildly mismatched opponents.
Your real gear and stats finally count in PvP fights.
Fairer win odds: a modest edge wins more often, but upsets are possible again.
Daily PvP reset moved to midnight Central.

FORGE
New refinement material ladder: Gem Chips, Gems, and Greater Gems each have their own tier and their own look.
Refinement Transfer: carry your refinement from an old weapon or armor piece into a new one instead of losing it.
Remorph no longer wipes your refinement progress.
Set bonuses now activate at +12 instead of +15.
Gem drops restored to full rate, and World Bosses now drop gems for every participant, not just the finishing blow.
Mobile forge screen reworked: every tab's action button is reachable, tabs scroll properly, and donor/refine panels show exactly what you're spending and getting.

BONUS STATS
Bonus stats like XP, Gold, Drop Chance, and Magic Find now have their own room to grow instead of sharing one shrinking pool, so a potion or gem for one stat can no longer quietly eat another's headroom.
Quest scrolls now pay based on the actual monster you're fighting, so high-level scrolls are finally worth using.
Shop and Forge now warn you up front if a purchase would go to waste against your cap.

CHAT
New "All" view shows every channel at once, with a separate control for where your messages go.
Party, guild, trade, and friend invites now pin to the top of chat so you never miss one.
GIFs and tappable item links added to mobile chat.
Mobile chat panel resizes further and remembers channel filters.

CHARACTER SHEET
Your sheet (and other players') now correctly reflects grimoire seals, siege tower buffs, and event bonuses.
You can inspect another player's real combat stats, not just their public profile.

ALSO FIXED
Currency Exchange now has fair limits and rate caps in both directions.
Cooking food buffs now scale properly with your cooking level.
Daily Blessings can be restored within their cooldown window again.
Auto-attack no longer freezes after your device sleeps; offline rewards arrive reliably.
Mail: Cash-on-Delivery parcels are payable on mobile, and bounced mail shows the right sender.
Arcane Exchange, quantity input fields, and several UI polish fixes across shop, market, and forge.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-09

The biggest update since launch.

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
Get notified for mail, market sales, guild raid start, siege events, empty potions, level and stat milestones, gathering ready to collect, and friend, party, guild and trade invites. Full controls and quiet hours in Settings.

MAIL
Mail opens now. Read, reply, delete, return to sender, admit a guild applicant, and pay a COD. If a COD parcel has been sitting in your mailbox, you can finally claim it.

COMBAT AND BALANCE
48 new monsters fill the empty stretches of the level ladder, and difficulty now scales continuously to endgame instead of flatlining for whole worlds. Bosses pay about 4x the XP of the best regular monster in their world. Fighting far below your level now pays less, and the monster panel shows what a kill actually pays your character.

INVENTORY
Backpack tiles tell you whether you can use an item before you touch it: a red level chip when you are under the requirement, a red slash for the wrong class, dimmed art for either. Every gear tile carries an arrow comparing it to what is in that slot. Item comparison now counts enchanting glyphs, so enchanted pieces no longer read weaker than they are. Opening a cache or pouch names everything that came out.

PROFESSIONS
Mining and Herbology nodes let you pick which material they produce. Scroll merging gets batch amounts and a Top mode that climbs every tier you qualify for in one press. Fishing: rods survive the cast, everyone gets at least 10 free casts a day, and deep dives bring home a Shallows fish as Bycatch.

GUILDS AND HADES
Guild contributions count again. Any member can read a vault item's stats and request one from an officer. Castle Siege attacks update in place instead of interrupting you every hit. Hades hired helpers now fight the floor your party is actually on.

CHAT AND PORTRAITS
Every chat channel keeps its own history, so a busy Global no longer buries your guild and whispers. Subscriber crests now appear on chat lines. Every portrait your account summons is kept forever and can be reused on any character or class, and existing characters can change their portrait.

ALSO
Fifteen bottom sheets that used to cut themselves off now scroll. Settings has a Linked Accounts panel, so an email signup can attach Google or Apple. Market listings are now priced per item, with the lot total shown before you confirm.
