It's one of those rare games that makes you want to play "just one more round"... and suddenly an hour has gone by. While it's no Holy Molé 😉, it's absolutely worth downloading. Do yourself a favor: stop doom-scrolling and start playing a game that actually brings you a little joy. Highly recommend! ### 5/5 — One my fav puzzle games *2026-07-30* There is something that the touch controls need. When on simple controls can you swap the fast drop to the left side rather than the right side? All the right side needs is a button to tap for rotation. It’s more natural for the down arrow to be on left side to drop fast. Alternatively you could do a hybrid gesture/button option where you can swipe down to drop from anywhere on the screen. Tap the rotate button or tap the right side of the screen to rotate. The left side would just have the left and right arrows. It also needs a sensitivity slider for gesture controls its way to sensitive when going from left to right or right to left. Controller works fine but with some fine tuning you could make the touch controls way better than they are. The drop button should not be on both the left and right side on classic. Remove the down arrow on the right side. When you tap the down on left side the blocks still drop down extremely fast making the right drop button pointless, you try to rotate and blocks are quick dropping instead. Make the touch points have a smaller radius it seems to be over lapping i think im rotating but im dropping. ### 5/5 — Finally *2026-07-30* I’ve been waiting for Lumines to come back to iPhone for YEARS. Love that this is the real version of the game. In less than 10 hours of play, I've hit multiple different showstopper bugs including a very bizarre one where all of my game play history, skins, progress, etc were wiped out due to a bizarre game save file conflict. I've only played on one device but on launch, the app decided that the local save file was 7 minutes outdated vs the cloud save file... okay... I guess?! Upon restoring the newer one, the game lost all of saved state and progress and reverted back to 1 minute of play time. Please fix these critical bugs. This app aggressively needs a TestFlight beta — it feels like they rushed it out of the door without testing or QA. **Developer response:** We have just released a patch to address the issue that was causing save file loss. Please update your game and let us know if you still have any issues. ### 3/5 — 操作性 *2026-08-13* 家でiPadで遊ぶならコントローラー繋いで★5にします。しかし外で手軽にスマホだけで遊ぶとしたら悲しいくらい操作性が悪いです。昔からのこのゲームのファンだったのでそれが残念でした。スラッシュでの横移動はひとマスの移動が困難…操作性がゲームの足を引っ張ってしまってる感じがしました。操作性がコントローラーなしでも快適になれば間違いなく★5にします。 **Developer response:** デフォルトの操作方法にご不満をお感じになっているとのこと、誠に申し訳ございません。現在、操作に関するプレイヤーの皆様からのご意見を収集しており、改善策を検討しております。ご意見をお寄せいただき、ありがとうございます。 ### 3/5 — ゲーム性は約束されてるが、操作周りがもう少し細かく設定できると…… *2026-07-31* PSP時代に死ぬほどやりこんだ作品が遊べるということで、一旦体験版をプレイ。 ゲーム性は言わずもがなで、気持ちいいし楽しいのだけれど、操作にストレスがあり現状ちょっと購入見合わせ。 iPhone13Proの画面で全操作タイプを試したどれもしっくりこずでした。 Console 個人的に一番期待したのはこれですが、十字キー横を少しでも下にずれて叩くと下が反応してしまう事が多々あり。 しかも基本十字キー横を押すゲームなので、語落下が連続して事故る。 もう少し下判定を明確に下段にずらすとか、判定小さめにしてもいいと思った。 Simple 過去作やっている人からするとシンプルというより違和感が。 あと、これもConsoleと同じく、回転中少しでも下を叩くと下判定にされ誤落下してイライラする事あり。 Gestunes これは下スワイプで落下のため誤落下がなく快適……かと思いきや。 スワイプによる横移動の微調整が難しすぎる。 特に1マスだけ移動が難易度が高くて困る。 製品版だと操作がもっとカスタマイズできるなら絶対買いだと思うのだが、そこは有識者の確認待ち。 (例えばConsoleやSimpleでも落下は下スワイプで可能とか、さっきの下ボタンの判定を小さくできるとか) コントローラー対応らしいけど、移動中に遊びたい現状わざわざそこまでする気にならないので、操作周りをなんとかしてほしいです。 (家で遊ぶならコンシューマ機やsteamでできるので) ### 4/5 — Almost there! *2026-08-07* Fabulous game! Will raise to 5 when there’s improved gesture controls. It would be easier if I could use the “tap to rotate” and “slide to move piece” with both thumbs. Lediglich die Steuerung ist mir zu ruckelig und träge, in den höheren Leveln leider unbrauchbar, denn da brauche ich Präzision. Mal schauen wie es mit nem Controller läuft, jedenfalls definitiv eine Empfehlung für reaktionsschnelle Puzzle Freunde. ## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Lumines is back! *2026-08-06* In case you didn’t know, this is a mobile port Lumines Remastered that originally released on PC, Switch, Xbox and PS4 in 2018. It’s still the same puzzle arcade masterpiece it was on the PSP over 22 years ago, but with upgraded visuals and better audio (as the music was apparently heavily downsampled to fit on the PSP). The touch controls are a bit iffy on some of the faster levels, but if you have a controller you can easily play with that instead if you wish! The music and gameplay aren’t two separate things here, they’re completely fused together, and that’s the whole magic of it.
