A monthly plan, for when a year feels like a long commitment and a week is over too fast.

Cleaner categories in Browse: night, dark, sunset and nature now bring back scenery instead of the odd photo that had nothing to do with them.

And the report button asks before it sends anything, so you can tap it just to see what it does.

### 1.5 — 2026-08-12

Browse now opens on a new source: wallpapers made for phone screens instead of cropped down from desktop ones. Pexels is one tap away.

Eight new categories — mountains, forest, sunset, night, sky, winter, architecture and autumn.

Settings are grouped and explained, so you can tell what a switch does before you flip it.

Plus fixes in Browse: previews are no longer squashed, and taps land where you aim them.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-09

Bug fixes and improvements. Saving is more reliable and now tells you what went wrong, style previews show the effects you can add, and everything stays readable at large text sizes.

ASCII — a new style that redraws any photo as a grid of characters. Four sets, from the classic .:*# to solid blocks.

Orb — a new live style: a glowing sphere with paint drifting inside. Save it as a Live Photo for your Lock Screen.

Bring your own photo to Typography, Dither and ASCII, then pinch, drag and rotate to frame it exactly.

New text styles — outline, hollow, shadow and plates — so your words stay readable over any photo.

Every app icon is now free.

Live wallpapers! Animated styles can now be saved as Live Photos and set on your Lock Screen with motion. Plus bug fixes and minor improvements.
