Lacking this from the official source, I’ve tried just about every companion app out there. All either fell short or did not have the sustaining support needed for iterative improvements. Lumy has hands-down been the best iteration I’ve encountered so far, with a developer that has an active interest in improvements to the platform and a roadmap I can get behind. I assume it is because they don’t want to overload users. However, from my perspective such a missed upselling opportunity. I’m glad Lumy is leading the way. Biggest value add: I can understand my spending trends by category or overall ON THE GO. It took me a minute to set up Lumy. A few minutes more to set up my categories and works flawlessly. But from the moment I downloaded it, all I get is a trial has ended notification. Smoothed income and days of buffer calculations were welcome features!! Would love to be able to compare current month to average monthly spending and even a step further as we get more into it — the ability to compare month of this year to same month last year.
