## What is Luna Band and Ring?

Luna is a comprehensive health tracking ecosystem that comes with a smart ring, a fitness band, and an always-on intelligence layer called LifeOS. Instead of passively displaying data in dashboards, Luna understands your biomarkers and your health goals, and turns them into a personalized plan for your day.

A calendar for your body;
You wake to a day that has already been shaped around the state you are in. Breakfast has a time, your workout planned based on your preferred slot and goals, and a nutrition plan based on your calorie targets and macro consumption. The plan also takes into account what you actually did in the past days and weeks, and learns from your preferences and available resources.

Sleep tracking and continuous vitals;
Understand how well or poorly you slept, with an analysis to meet a single chart. Sleep tracking separates the night into stages, and blood oxygen, or SpO2, along with resting heart rate, HRV and skin temperature are all measured while you sleep, then weighed against your own normal instead of a population average. A figure that looks unremarkable on somebody else's chart gets flagged when it is unusual for you, and every value on the page says whether it was measured, worked out by a stated formula, or estimated.

Manage your health goals;
You describe what you are working towards in your own words, such as running twenty kilometres in a week, and what comes back is a plan with check-ins rather than an empty tracker to fill in yourself. Progress stays honest on the weeks that go badly. The goal also changes what each morning asks of you, so the thing you want and the day in front of you stop being separate conversations.

Track your health 24/7;
Your sleep and stress recorded throughout the day, and your HR recorded every second. Training Load tells you whether recent effort is building you up or wearing you down, VO2 Max estimates aerobic capacity after any outdoor run, walk or ride of fifteen minutes or more, and strain reads as Relaxed, Focused or Stressed as the hours pass. Anything in that history can be asked about out loud, in English, and the reply comes from your own record rather than general advice.

Luna Apps;
You carry only the parts of Luna you use. Cycle Tracker, Calorie Tracker and Circadian switch on when they matter and stay out of sight when they do not, so somebody tracking a menstrual cycle and somebody managing their weight are not looking at the same crowded screen. Calorie tracking holds what you ate and what remains against a target, and explains where that target came from and when recovery moved it. Cycle tracking shows the days to your next period and where the fertile window falls, and the phase you are in shapes the guidance you get that morning.

Track your biomarkers;
Blood work stops being a PDF you cannot read and forget in your inbox. Upload a lab report or blood test result and every marker on it is pulled out, sorted into optimal, in range and out of range, and explained in terms you can act on. The next panel joins the same record, so you watch an individual marker move across months and find out whether the change you made worked, which is the part a printed result has never been able to tell you.

One Luna, many devices;
You take the ring, the band, or both, and your history stays in one piece regardless. Whichever one you have on reports into the same record, and the header shows its battery level and the time it last synced, so you are never left guessing whether today counted. Training Load is measured by the band. Luna also connects to Health Connect, which brings the workouts and vitals other apps captured alongside everything Luna recorded, and spares you entering anything twice.

### 5/5 — 特别喜欢

*2026-05-13, version 1.8.0*

用过几个戒指，这是最好的一个。

### 1/5 — Update is terrible

*2026-05-09, version 1.7.9*

Latest update is absolutely terrible. Log an activity and the app quits. The menus are now so unwieldy that you can’t find anything. It’s bad enough that the ring can’t connect half the time now the user experience is even worse. Actively looking for a suitable replacement solution.

### 3/5 — The actual ring is great

*2026-05-05*

The actual ring is great (even though the company’s communication is minimal beyond any support) but the updates to the app get annoying. Recently they changed the format for manually adding exercise. Now you can only adjust the time in 10 minute increments. Why not 5 minute in increments? I exercise most mornings and sometimes my cardio is between 30 and 40 minutes, often right around 35 minutes. Rounding down or up affects the accuracy of my data. They need to make the increments smaller, like 5 minutes, or just go back to having us select the start and end time. That worked fine; why change it?

**Developer response:** Hi phoenix88z, thank you for the thoughtful and constructive feedback, and I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying the ring overall. Your point about 10 minute workout increments is completely valid, especially when it impacts workout accuracy and daily data quality. I’ve shared this with our product team, and we’re already looking at ways to improve the UI and workout editing experience further. If you have any additional suggestions or feedback, please feel free to email me directly at vinayak.suneja@lunazone.com. Vinayak, Product Experience Manager, Luna.

### 2/5 — Terrible at myriad of things

*2026-05-03*

First thing it fails to do is to pick up steps from Health app. It just doesn't. My todays ring steps are 2600 however iphone steps are 8k . On top a that it fails to import workout from health . It just basicaly says - yeah this is workout period. No metrics are available in the ring . Thirdly its supplements shelf useless it is so limited and no option of adding meds etc . Thirdly its useless for workout even with jogging , leg workouts it cant catch the pulse which is understandable- hence - need of pick up deteils from health app . Then there is no way rearranging anything on the screens . Life os is so slow and useless , cant even log in WATER ! that no reason to have it . Graphs cpuld be better articulated .

**Developer response:** Hi, I’m really sorry to hear about your experience. It sounds like you’re running into multiple issues across Health sync, workout data, and overall app usability, and that’s not the standard we aim for. I’d really like to understand each of these in detail and help get them addressed properly. Please email me at vinayak.suneja@lunazone.com and we can take this up together and work through these one by one.

### 1/5 — Basic Functions

*2026-03-13, version 1.7.5*

Great when it works - but the focus on basic use cases and functionality is shocking!

Just basic features like adding an activity in the past is so annoying with the date and time function out of sync and preventing an activity being added..

This feedback has been put onto Luna’s own app - twice within the last 6 weeks - with zero response or feedback. As soon it’s put in the public domain (see developers response) you get a developers response and an app update! The relationship to customers is clearly not in consideration here. Trust starts by engaging on your own platform.

### 4/5 — Best ring for the value.

*2026-03-06*

My main reason for purchasing this ring was that it didn’t require a subscription for the app. It also syncs with my cycle tracker. I feel the readings are accurate as they usually line up with those of my Apple Watch Ultra. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that in the beginning, I was having constant issues with it connecting to my phone and syncing with the charger. I contacted Luna and they were very helpful with a solution. Since the most recent update, I have had no issues with the ring and I am very happy with it!
