I wear it most places, but not for vigorous activities….it’s a little fragile, I think. It certainly is not waterproof. However, after a week and a day, it is at 41% battery! I find that extraordinary! Also, it picks up my sleep, my naps and all my walks. I have small wrists and it looks attractive on me. I believe it is a work in progress, but find it very informative. I am still learning the app, but I find it interesting and mostly accurate as I compare it to my other trackers. If the issue persists, please support@lunazone.com with your device details and we would like to sort it for you. ### 3/5 — The actual ring is great *2026-05-05* The actual ring is great (even though the company’s communication is minimal beyond any support) but the updates to the app get annoying. Recently they changed the format for manually adding exercise. Now you can only adjust the time in 10 minute increments. Why not 5 minute in increments? I exercise most mornings and sometimes my cardio is between 30 and 40 minutes, often right around 35 minutes. Rounding down or up affects the accuracy of my data. They need to make the increments smaller, like 5 minutes, or just go back to having us select the start and end time. Vinayak, Product Experience Manager, Luna. ### 2/5 — Terrible at myriad of things *2026-05-03* First thing it fails to do is to pick up steps from Health app. It just doesn't. My todays ring steps are 2600 however iphone steps are 8k . On top a that it fails to import workout from health . It just basicaly says - yeah this is workout period. No metrics are available in the ring . Thirdly its supplements shelf useless it is so limited and no option of adding meds etc . Thirdly its useless for workout even with jogging , leg workouts it cant catch the pulse which is understandable- hence - need of pick up deteils from health app . Then there is no way rearranging anything on the screens . Life os is so slow and useless , cant even log in WATER ! that no reason to have it . Vinayak, Product Experience Manager, Luna ### 4/5 — Best ring for the value. *2026-03-06* My main reason for purchasing this ring was that it didn’t require a subscription for the app. It also syncs with my cycle tracker. I feel the readings are accurate as they usually line up with those of my Apple Watch Ultra. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that in the beginning, I was having constant issues with it connecting to my phone and syncing with the charger. I contacted Luna and they were very helpful with a solution. Since the most recent update, I have had no issues with the ring and I am very happy with it! ### 3/5 — Ring Works Well But App Doesn’t *2026-02-18, version 1.7.1* Since I started using the app, there have been issues. Every day I see the Get Started button for Circadian Alignment but nothing happens when I try. The latest release has changed Luna AI to Life OS and it doesn’t work. I reported these issues to Luna a few days ago. Nothing back from them yet. ### 2/5 — Please Improve the UI *2026-01-22* The Luna AI Ring has excellent hardware quality—the ring itself feels premium, comfortable to wear, and the data it captures seems accurate and reliable. I appreciate the depth of health and activity insights provided. However, the mobile app UI needs significant improvement. The way information is presented is difficult to read and not very intuitive. Navigation feels cluttered, and important data is not easily accessible at a glance, which affects daily usability. If the UI/UX is improved with clearer visuals and better data organization, this product could be outstanding. So kind of pointless ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — absolutely terrible. *2026-09-03* ring was bad & inconsistent before but the new app just makes it pointless. not intuitive at all. no home page that breaks down sleep times vitals cycle and steps. bounce around all over and have to read everything in a circle which makes zero sense. why would i want to have to count dots on a circle to see when i ovulate? whose idea was that? a man’s? bring back a basic calendar and a functional app our eyes can actually read. literally doesn’t even tell you what time you fell asleep. i don’t have a clue of how i slept anymore either. they’re trying to do something different w their squares and circles but created an entirely new language our brains can’t compute. surely i can’t be the only one extremely dissatisfied w this switch. no idea how stressed i am ever or how well i’ve slept. it would take me weeks to sit on the app nonstop to even have a clue what was happening but app is now missing basic measurements … which i thought was the whole point. **Developer response:** Hi, I’m really sorry for how frustrating this experience has been, especially after waiting for updates and still not seeing reliable sleep and step tracking. Log an activity and the app quits. The menus are now so unwieldy that you can’t find anything. It’s bad enough that the ring can’t connect half the time now the user experience is even worse. Actively looking for a suitable replacement solution. ### 1/5 — Basic Functions *2026-03-13, version 1.7.5* Great when it works - but the focus on basic use cases and functionality is shocking! Just basic features like adding an activity in the past is so annoying with the date and time function out of sync and preventing an activity being added.. This feedback has been put onto Luna’s own app - twice within the last 6 weeks - with zero response or feedback. As soon it’s put in the public domain (see developers response) you get a developers response and an app update! The relationship to customers is clearly not in consideration here. Trust starts by engaging on your own platform. ### 1/5 — never works. *2026-03-04* unfortunately i’ve had this ring for 3ish months & you are always waiting on updates they promise but never come. data is never accurate so it’s pretty much impossible to get a good, solid read on health fluctuations. i’d say the sleep function is accurate 25% of the time & step function maybe half of the time. sometimes sleep won’t be recognized at all for me, i had to add it manually every morning. i’ve had a dialogue with customer service since i got it saying… what is going on? their slow response is always… there is going to be an update in a few days. and many days pass & there is no update. you spend the entire time waiting for the ring to function & the data to be accurate. i’d have paid a fraction of the cost for this ring but seeing that it rarely actually functions properly it is not worth it. the app itself is enraging & quirky & there are still many things that need addressing (that i’ve seen many people point out) yet they haven’t addressed. sad… i asked for money back a couple times & the response is … oh an update is coming. ok well i just missed out on days of accurate data so it basically makes the data up until this point… pointless. **Developer response:** Hi, I’m really sorry for how frustrating this experience has been, especially after waiting for updates and still not seeing reliable sleep and step tracking. Sleep detection fails the work sometimes. ### 1/5 — Not as good as they say on the website. *2026-02-07, version 1.7.0* Complete waste of money. Doesn’t accurately check sleep, doesn’t automate recognize when a work out happens, unable to change if you are off birth control if you originally put that you were on it, app is glitchy. Many other reasons avoid getting this ring. ### 1/5 — Not A Good Product *2026-02-06* About a month ago I got an email for $100 discount on Luna Ring 2. Two weeks after that my Luna Ring stopped working, which was the same time they did an update. Ring has not worked since. I called in to customer service the troubleshooting starts with slam the ring down really hard 3 times (my opinion to break it). WTH. Too much money for Luna Ring 1 to not work. They only gave me the sales pitch when I called in to buy another ring. When it works it’s great but I’ve been having trouble with mine since day one. CS has responded but they seem to waste lots of time giving bad troubleshooting suggestions then goes silent for 24 hours. Just go with your gut and get the other brand. ### 1/5 — Wish I didn’t buy this *2025-10-07, version 1.6.2* I don’t even know where to start. This health tracker was supposed to simplify my life but it’s a nuance. The ring constantly disconnects and will not connect for hours or even days. Customer service takes 12 hours to respond. I wish I could get a refund for this. I contacted customer support after trying the instructions in the app (super helpful step by steps) and they were quick to respond and decided it was still in warranty and needed to be replaced. One of the best smart rings I’ve tried! ### 5/5 — Resolution at last *2025-12-04* My ring stopped connecting to the phone weeks ago. Luna really puts you through the paces to resolve. Multiple emails, multiple video’s sent, and finally a gentlemen from the company did a teleconference with me and resolved in minutes. The ring is defective and new ring is being sent. This should have been the option weeks ago when I first reached out. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and immediately was able to confirm what I have been telling them in multiple emails over the past 6-8 weeks - the ring is defective. ### 5/5 — Gen 2 is great! *2025-12-04, version 1.6.7* I love using this ring!
