The ephemeris astrologers actually use, in your pocket. Luna computes the sky the way professional ephemerides do: apparent, tropical, geocentric positions with light-time, aberration, nutation and ΔT, based on Jean Meeus' Astronomical Algorithms (VSOP87 for the Sun and planets, ELP-2000/82 for the Moon). Lunation times agree with published tables to within seconds. VOID-OF-COURSE MOON • See instantly whether the Moon is void, until when, and the aspect that started it • Two weeks of void periods and Moon sign ingresses, to the minute • Traditional (Sun to Saturn) or modern (Sun to Pluto) rule FULL EPHEMERIS • Sun, Moon, Mercury to Pluto and the True Node, in degrees, minutes and seconds • Retrograde markers and a heads-up when a station is days away • Long-press any position to copy it, or copy the whole chart moment MOON ASPECTS & LUNATIONS • Every exact Moon aspect of the day: conjunction, sextile, square, trine, opposition • New, Full and Quarter Moons with the exact time and degree • True illumination and Moon–Sun angle RETROGRADES & INGRESSES • Retrograde and direct stations for the next year, with exact times and degrees • Every planet sign change, including retrograde re-entries • Equinoxes and solstices ECLIPSES 1950–2050 • Total, annular, hybrid, partial and penumbral eclipses • The exact New or Full Moon degree of each eclipse • Eclipse midpoints with Sun and Moon degrees TIME TRAVEL • Jump to any date and time between 1950 and 2050 and see the full sky, void Moon and upcoming events NOTIFICATIONS • Alerts at the exact moment of New and Full Moons, eclipses, void-of-course starts, Moon ingresses and planetary stations Designed for the night: a calm dark interface for late readings and planning. No account, no ads, no data collected. ## Is Luna safe? Not enough ratings yet to assess Luna. ## Is Luna legit? Luna: Ephemeris & Void Moon appears legitimate, with a few gaps. The AppsHunter Legitimacy Score for Luna is 65 out of 100 points across 7 verification signals from App Store and developer data. ## Version history (last 3 releases) ### 2.2 — 2026-10-24 Luna 2.2 is a big step for astrologers. • Void-of-course Moon: live status, the last aspect, and two weeks of void periods (traditional or modern rule) • Full ephemeris: every planet and the True Node to the arc-second, with retrograde markers • Today's exact Moon aspects • Retrograde stations and planet ingresses for the next year • Lunations now show their exact degree • Eclipses calculated for 1950–2050, with type, degree and magnitude • Time travel to any moment • Notifications for lunations, void Moons, ingresses and stations • More precise: positions now use Terrestrial Time, apparent Sun and nutation, so times are right to the second • A year strip makes the Eclipses tab quicker to browse, and iPad gets a readable layout ### 2.1.2 — 2026-01-20 What’s New in Version 2.1.2 Precision Astrology. We’ve overhauled our cosmic engine. By moving away from custom approximations to the industry-standard SwiftAA (based on Jean Meeus’ astronomical algorithms), your Moon and Sun positions are now accurate to the second. No more "off by a few hours" calculations, get the exact moment of every lunar phase transition. Redesigned Moon Phase Orb Our live moon renderer has been completely rewritten. We fixed a visual bug where the "shadow" part of the moon appeared a different shade of black than the background. The new orb features: Solid Shadow Logic: A seamless, deep-black terminator that matches your starfield perfectly. Geometric Accuracy: Mathematically correct crescents and gibbous shapes based on the current elongation. Atmospheric Glow: A subtle outer radiance for a more immersive "Tonight's Sky" experience. Enhanced Lunar Calendar True Phase Instants: The calendar now displays the exact high-precision time for New Moons, Quarters, and Full Moons. Better Countdown Strings: See exactly how many days, hours, and minutes remain until the next major lunar event. Bug Fixes & Polish Fixed a "Duplicate PhaseEvent" compilation error that affected some users on the Calendar tab. Improved the stability of the Starfield background generator. Streamlined the "Sun + Moon" zodiac cards for better readability on smaller devices. ### 2.1.0 — 2026-01-02 No release notes. ## More apps by DMITRIJS SIZOVS - [CalPatterns - Calorie Tracker](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/calpatterns-calorie-tracker/id6745329971) - [100% Countdown Widgets](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/100-countdown-widgets/id6754223148) - [iFeely: Couples Widget & Love](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/ifeely-couples-widget-and-love/id6757633184) All apps by DMITRIJS SIZOVS: https://appshunter.io/developer/1811795750 ## Related topics [play luna](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/play-luna) · [el alma de la luna](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/el-alma-de-la-luna) · [foreo luna](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/foreo-luna) · [foreo luna 4](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/foreo-luna-4) --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
