Luna Local tracks your cycle without ever leaving your phone.

No account to create. No server to trust. No cycle data to sell. In a category where the leading apps have faced scrutiny for sharing intimate health data with advertisers, Luna Local takes a different path: everything you log about your cycle stays on your device, full stop.

 ON-DEVICE PRIVACY

Your cycle data is stored in Apple's on-device database — the same encrypted storage used by iOS itself. If you enable iCloud, your data syncs through your private, end-to-end encrypted iCloud account; we never see it. Your logged periods, symptoms, moods, and notes never leave your device and are never sent to us, sold, or shared with advertisers. The app uses standard, industry-common analytics and crash reporting to stay stable and improve — and those never include anything you log about your cycle.

 FAST ONBOARDING

One screen. Enter the date your last period started. Done. Luna Local calculates your cycle from that single data point and starts predicting immediately. No questionnaires, no account creation, no email confirmation — you are tracking in under 30 seconds.

 CYCLE WHEEL

The home screen shows your cycle as a beautiful rotating wheel: period days, fertile window, and luteal phase displayed at a glance. Tap any day to log symptoms, mood, flow, or notes. The wheel updates as you add data, getting more accurate over time.

 HONEST PREDICTIONS

Luna Local shows cycle predictions with a ±2 day margin — because cycles vary, and an app that pretends otherwise is not being honest with you. Predicted dates are shown as a range, not a false point of certainty. Predictions improve as you log more cycles.

 DISCREET MODE

Switch to a neutral app icon and neutral notification text. The icon looks like a plain calendar; notifications say "Daily reminder" — nothing that identifies the app's purpose to anyone who glances at your home screen or notification shade.

 HEALTHKIT INTEGRATION

Optionally sync period start dates and cycle length to Apple Health. All HealthKit access requires your explicit permission and can be revoked any time in iOS Settings.

Core tracking is free, forever. Luna Local Pro ($24.99, pay once — no subscription, no recurring charge) adds unlimited cycle history export, detailed insights, and custom symptom tags.
