## What is Lunar Calendar?

A lunar calendar that explains its advice.

Every day the app calculates the Moon for your city: phase, lunar day from moonrise to moonrise, zodiac sign, void-of-course Moon, moonrise and moonset. Then it turns all of that into clear answers: is today good for a haircut, sowing tomatoes, coloring your hair or an important meeting — and why.

TODAY
• A realistic Moon in its current phase with illumination
• Lunar day with exact start and end times, its symbol and meaning
• Moon sign, the body zone to spare, void-of-course periods
• Ratings for your activities: haircut, coloring, sowing, fishing, renovation, money, dates
• Intention of the day and a practice for the current phase

BEAUTY
• Calendar for haircuts, coloring, manicure, hair removal and facials
• Every day color-coded a month ahead
• Choose your haircut tradition: by lunar day, by sign, or both

GARDEN
• Planting calendar for 49 crops: tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, strawberries, flowers, trees
• When to water, feed, prune, graft, harvest and preserve
• New and full moon warnings, when plants rest

FISHING & NATURE
• Fishing and hunting forecast by solunar theory: major and minor periods by the hour
• Best days around the new and full moon, periods at sunrise and sunset
• When to pick mushrooms and gather herbs

HOME, WORK, LIFE
• Renovation, painting, floors, foundations, laundry, window cleaning, firewood
• Study and exams, job interviews, paperwork, selling, loans and debts
• Dates, weddings, parties, difficult conversations, travel, moving

• Good days 60 days ahead, with reminders and Calendar export
• A "Why" section showing what counts for and against

JOURNAL
• Mood, dreams, haircuts and sowing, marked "worked" or "didn't"
• A chart of your mood across moon phases

ACCURACY

• Eclipses and supermoons
