Ease up on the propulsion rate/velocity such that the player can give it just a “little”,…it accelerates way to fast. And 2. Be a bit more forgiving on the angle of the lander as it touches down on the landing platform….give it a few more degrees of non-perpendicularity. Controls are sloppy with 2 second delays from when you push the button being fairly common. The Worst. Randomly an in game purchase pop up appears where your control pad is. So while you are playing you constantly get thrown into the App Store to buy their special Lander Pack. If you can ignore on that, it can be fun. ### 2/5 — Terrible controls *2016-12-18* This is nothing like the original lunar lander. The left/right controls feel reversed to me and it makes it very difficult to control. Game play it too fast. Gravity seems too strong. No animation to show a crash seems kinda lazy. ### 4/5 — Love it! *2016-08-28, version 1.1* Classic old lunar lander, amped up for modern times. Simple but highly addictive. I can't stop playing it. It could be improved with more levels, stronger gravity as you advance to higher levels to cause more fuel burn to make it more challenging. Not only is it easy to play, but they have the audacity to start asking you to upgrade your ships after the very first flight. This is a money grab and a baiting agenda. Maybe a bug, but maybe, perhaps a deliberate con. ### 2/5 — NEEDS CALIBRATION *2022-12-08* This game looks terrific but is too unwieldy to play. The left and right arrows turn your ship around in a complete circle rather than just moving it from side to side, because of that, it’s next to impossible to make a halfway decent landing. Endless crashing is the order of the day. The Dev needs to spend some time with the original Lunar Lander to see how this game is supposed to work, because right now it doesn’t. DunkinDuggie here (check the leaderboards). I’ve been playing since 2018 and have really enjoyed this game. Yes, there are a few bugs, but it’s 99 cents. I believe the review below from “I’m the captain now” was done by “Chralash”, who held all the records at the time. The spring of 2018 was fun, as we battled back and forth trying to better each other. Soon after that, my ohone wouldn’t connect to the leaderboard, so when I set new records, they weren’t updated. The latest update about a month ago fixed that. I was pleasantly surprised that I still held all the records, and have set a few new ones recently. It’s a fun game that with some practice, you get better quickly. It’s no longer actively developed, though, and there is no animation for crashes, which lowers the fun quotient somewhat. Oh, and the controls are wonky. Still, I get 99 cents of entertainment out of it. I’ve played worse.
