Decades ago when The Weather Channel was the only source of information, it broadcast my every waking minute. My wife, jokingly,that the information was code from the CIA. Wirklich top! Eine Sache trübt für mich allerdings den tollen Gesamteindruck: Die graphische Darstellung des Mondverlaufs ist nicht immer im Display zentriert (der Sonnenverlauf schon). Das Ablesen des Mondstandes und die dazugehörige Uhrzeit ist daher nicht sehr komfortabel. Wäre klasse, wenn das noch behoben würde. --- Die neu hinzugekommenen Infos sind klasse. With the times and dates of the moon and sun, I can plan my night photography for taking photigraphs of the milkyway, planet alignments and deep space photography of Planets and nebulae. It fits perfectly into my life of writing letters all over the world to people in all climes. I love to compare their longest days, longest nights, the Moon’s rising and setting, the length of days, you name it! This program allows me to do that, to the second, something most websites do not provide. My Asperger’s brain loves details, another way in which this is perfect. It’s science in a neat package and I can find any location my friends live. When I have questions, the designer takes time to help me, and invaluable help. I very much appreciate that. (My apologies for when I thought daylight saving time was made permanent — that was me, entirely. I keep hoping the powers that were (are?) will jump the United States an hour ahead, stop this nonsense of moving time — I really need the missing Sun in the winter, here in New Jersey…!) If you love science, the dance of the Moon, Sun, when different events of the normal day take place, then you will adore this! LunaSolCal takes all of these tidbits into a beautiful app that will give you all of that information. It also has been developed for iPhone, iPad and MacBook! I cannot recommend it enough. ### 4/5 — Die Zeit stimmt nicht. *2024-10-12* Die Zeit stimmt nicht mit der Tatsächlichen Zeit in den Land Überein das gesucht wird Überein. In New York USA ist um 14:00 Uhr Sonnenaufgang. Das kann nicht stimmen und sollte dringend korrigiert werden. (Wenn auf der Karte gesucht wird.) Bei tatsächlicher Eingabe des Ortes stimmt die Zeit. Wenn auf der Karte der Ort gesucht wird, dann stimmt die Zeit nicht und das sollte korrigiert werden. Bei schriftlicher Eingabe des Ortes in der Suchleiste stimmt die Zeit. Let's say I create one for sunset, and then when sunset rolls around, it doesn't go off. What is wrong? **Developer response:** The iPad 4th generation is still supported. Just make sure that it is running iOS 10.3. Since leaving my updated review about this problem I have discovered that sometimes opening and closing the app is enough the restore notifications. However when that fails, turning off the alarm in question, turning it back on, re-selecting both the time and the tone restores notification mode. I do not use “do not disturb” mode, so that isn’t the problem here. My other apps consistently send notifications so I don’t think it’s a problem with the settings or iPhone. It seems that when I mute a notification while the alarm is going off the app turns off future notifications. I haven’t tested this, it may only be an annoying coincidence. I gave back 2 stars because of your quick reply And I figured out how to fix it. MAY 2019 Alarms for sunrise and sunset no longer work. I have turned them off and back on, adjusted them (to go off one minute before the event, etc.) and changed the alarm sound; nothing works. Alarms still go off for moon rise and moon set, solar noon, and the equinoxes so I don’t think it is my iPhone being squirrelly. Unfortunately, the sunrise and sunset alarms are most important alarms. Not having them is a huge disappointment. 😢 DEC 2017 This is a fantastic app — as it always has been — it works very well with the latest iPhone OS. I especially like the customizable alarms which you can set for any number of celestial events.
