Always ghosted. Deleting the app now. Only 1 messaged can’t be online because she is busy out of I guess 12 matches. ### 4/5 — The concept is great! One small fix… *2024-01-05, version 2.3.8* Hi all, I have been using Lunchclub for some me now and it is great, once my fix that I would add is that on iPad there is no option to orientThe layout horizontally. Other than that, I’ve been using it for a while and I’m pretty happy with the experience. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work. *2023-09-25, version 2.3.8* I’m logged in every week and I get matches. But I can’t message anyone. My homepage doesn’t load on the app.I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times but it never works. ### 2/5 — Failing messages on app *2023-08-17, version 2.3.8* Unfortunately the app version doesn’t seem to work. I can read messages coming to me but my messages aren’t sent when I’m on the app. They show on my account and says ‘sending’ but after a while they just disappear and never get sent to people. Many meetings have been missed this way, that is quite annoying when you block time in your diary and keep waiting for calls that never happen. Please fix this issue The times when we set call times for also isn’t very flexible. Why can’t we schedule calls for after office hours? Or is this platform mainly for unemployed and self-employed people with flexible times for networking during ‘office hours ‘ ? ### 1/5 — Log in doesn’t work! *2023-04-25, version 2.3.8* When I try to log in and receive the code via email, the app takes me back to the initial login/create screen ### 1/5 — Great potential but overall disappointing *2023-04-05, version 2.3.8* The concept is great, and the app design allows it to learn your interests and match you with interesting people. However, my experience was that most of the meetings were a grand disappointment since the matches never showed up for the “lunch” dates. I reached out to customer support a couple of times about this issue as it’s really annoying to set aside time and then have people not show up. However, customer support provided zero response. One way they could easily fix the no-show issue would be to have a deadline by which people need to confirm the appointment, and if the person doesn’t confirm, then the algorithm could match you with someone else. If a person fails to respond X amount of times, they could then be suspended from the app. Perhaps there are a lot of profiles that are no longer active that are being matched- in which case Lunchclub should curate the users. As is, using the app is setting yourself up for a letdown since the likelihood of someone not showing is so high. ### 1/5 — Buggy App *2023-02-18, version 2.3.8* I have tried to log in over and over. Sent codes over and over. Enter codes over and over. Just keeps brining back to a log on screen. I’m a huge fan of the app and have had over 10 people sign up per my recommendation. Happy to update stars to 5 if the app would simply work. ### 1/5 — Good idea but …. *2023-01-23, version 2.3.8* Get ready for no shows … Waste of time Just go to LinkedIn and message people ### 3/5 — Great but can be painful *2023-01-12, version 2.3.8* I have used lunchclub for over 18 months and loved it. Lot of great people to meet. Then life when on and couldn’t be as active as I used to. I went back to the app in December and without my knowing got enrolled into automatic recurring meetings. I contacted support 2 time, had the app as “take a pause” for meeting but kept being match. I am personally not a fan of no show and got to reschedule 4 people. So Now I’m done. I just deleted it.
