In dark mode the ink was being inverted to white, so your writing vanished on the white page — it was saved, just invisible. Fixed. - Your recordings no longer fill up Notes. They live in their own section: play, delete, or turn one into an AI summary or meeting notes. - Recording no longer leaves an empty notebook behind. If you want a note, you create it from the summary. Split view: - No more flicker while dragging the divider. Panes stop at a minimum width; drag past it and the split closes. - You can open two notes side by side. Also: - You can now create flashcards by hand. Previously AI was the only way. - Stray identifier codes that crept into some note titles are now cleaned up. - The Home screen layout is cleaner. ### 1.26 — 2026-08-06 Voice notes got a full overhaul. - Apple Pencil now works in voice notes. Write before you record, while you record, and after you stop. - Turn a recording into an AI summary or meeting notes. The summary opens as a real note. - Already have a transcript? No recording needed. Upload a PDF, text or RTF file and get the same summary. - Leaving without recording no longer leaves an empty note behind. Also in this release: - Notification and calendar permissions are now only requested when you actually need them, not the moment you open the app. - Fixed syncing between iPhone and iPad. - Your name and email now show correctly with Apple and Google sign-in. - The page navigator in documents now opens and closes with a swipe. - On Canvas you can pinch to zoom while drawing with your pen — your ink no longer shifts or disappears. - Hours are now clearly readable in the calendar's day view. - Tapping a locked feature now opens a screen about that feature, with the free trial front and centre. - Corrected plan details: the Planner plan includes 100 notes, and documents are unlimited on every plan. - Fixed eight issues in Tasks: subtasks, tags, notes, photos, dependencies and location reminders now save properly. - Tasks added from Quick Add now get their reminder scheduled immediately. - Fixed the freeze when dragging stickers on Canvas and the drift when zooming. - Improved readability across all themes. - Office documents no longer open blank on iPhone. ### 1.25 — 2026-08-05 Your devices, in sync That is what this release is about. A note you take on your iPad is now on your iPhone. Notes, folders and tasks stay current across every device signed in to the same iCloud account. No account needed. Settings > Sync shows you exactly where things stand. If something isn't working, LuNote now tells you. Please note: if you use LuNote on two devices, the content from both is brought together the first time you open this version. Nothing is deleted. If you created the same note separately on each device, you'll see both and can delete the one you don't want. Files for PDFs and documents in your Library stay on the device they were added to; use Settings > Backup to move them. Tasks, tidied up Set a time, not just a date. Reminders arrive when you asked for them instead of defaulting to nine in the morning. Type a subtask or a tag, tap Done, and it's still there. It used to vanish without a word. Location reminders are actually scheduled now: arrive at the store and the reminder shows up. The add button stays put. Once it disappeared, it never came back. On iPad, task details open full page. Canvas is smoother Dragging sticky notes no longer freezes the board, and zooming keeps everything where it belongs. Documents Word, PowerPoint and Excel files now open on iPhone. They used to show a blank screen. The document reader's toolbar fits every iPhone. Signing in with Apple Your account card shows your name instead of a random-looking email address, and you can edit it in Settings > Account. Focus timer You get a notification when the time is up, even if the app is closed. Voice recording you can rely on Meeting Notes, Voice Summary and Audio Note wouldn't start at all on some devices. The microphone permission flow was rebuilt; if a recording can't start, LuNote explains why and takes you to the right setting. AI answers in your document's language Summarise a Turkish note and the summary comes back in Turkish. The same goes for quiz questions, flashcards, title suggestions and meeting notes. Faster everywhere Heavy work in Canvas, Library and Podcasts moved off the main thread. The interface no longer waits. Notifications, simplified The notification centre shows only what actually reached you. Unread items carry a red dot; clear them one by one or all at once. Calculator AC clears everything In chained calculations it only cleared the last line. Now it clears the lot. Much more complete in nine languages Hundreds of strings that were still English have been translated for German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic and Hindi. Plan limits, made clear The free plan includes 3 notes; Planner 100, Premium unlimited. Every note you already created stays and still opens — the limit only affects creating new ones.
