### 4/5 — Invalid subreddit

*2026-05-13*

I added an invalid subreddit by mistake. This reveals two problems. One, you should trim trailing whitespace from subreddit names the user provides. Two, there should be an obvious way to remove a subreddit that has been added.

### 4/5 — Very good but buggy in recent update

*2026-02-09*

The app is great for lurkers but the Liquid Glass update has made the app experience much worse. Also, watching cross posted videos still opens the link multiple times and hasn’t been fixed after 6+ months. Otherwise it’s a good enough app.

### 3/5 — Pretty good, great concept

*2026-01-13, version 1.11.0*

I deleted my 12 year old Reddit account a while back, got tired of the “karma” and updooting and whatnot. Decided to give this a try, it’s a great concept and I like the ability to not comment and give out votes but this app has some things not great. Like it seems to stop responding if you go to another and come back it it, it won’t scroll or click or anything so you are forced to close it and reopen it. A lot of connection errors where it just shows some string or code. And they search feature is funny, Reddit was never known for having a great search engine so maybe that’s the issue

### 3/5 — Buggy

*2025-12-15*

This is the best one if you don't care about commenting/voting

BUT it is very buggy, frequently stops responding to taps in the liquid glass update

### 4/5 — Great but needs works, possibly abandoned

*2025-08-04*

I love the idea of this app. No ads, no account and you can browse all you want. Downside is the app is pretty buggy. Pages hang, you have to force close the app to restart, videos open twice, you can’t open links sometimes.

### 3/5 — Decent app for browsing Reddit without an account. Several obnoxious bugs though…

*2025-07-11*

I’ll start off with saying this is probably the best choice of app if you just want to browse Reddit without no ads available right now.

Having said that. There are dozens of bugs and broken features all over the app.

If there’s a one line comment that contains a link, good luck tapping that link without just collapsing the comment thread.

There are some videos that pause every time you try to play them. (Almost exclusively on sports related videos, no idea why)

If you have other media playing (music, podcasts, etc.) if you open a post with a video, your other audio won’t pause while the video is playing, but when you leave the post and go back to your main feed, THEN your other audio will pause. This is very frustrating when you have “keep videos muted” when viewed selected. So many videos have obnoxious music put over the top of them, I’m just trying to look at the video. It is probably going to already have captions on it. Why does it freeze my other audio every time I exit that video???

Don’t say it’s an iOS problem, because this is literally the only app that has that issue.

I have so many other issues, but I can’t think of them at the top of my head. Please reach out if you would like more. And just do better guys.

### 4/5 — Yesss

*2025-03-28, version 1.9.3*

This is the best one if you don't care about commenting/voting

There's a few bugs and it drains my battery a lot compared to others.

### 3/5 — Constant crashing

*2025-03-16*

I love the app, but anytime I click to hold a sub to filter it crashes. I tried clearing out some filtered subs but it still does it. Using an iPhone 12 Pro.

### 2/5 — Needs a lot of work

*2025-02-28*

I try not to leave negative reviews and I like the app concept but wow this needs work. Constantly glitching and requiring a force quit, crazy slow load times, clicking links won’t do anything so you click again and suddenly it’s loading the link multiple times in the same window, and on and on. Errors, glitches, bugs. Not a great user experience. And omg the only way to get “load comments” to actually work is to repeatedly force quit and cross your fingers. Probably deleting this app, it just doesn’t work well enough.

### 2/5 — Needs a lot of work

*2025-02-26*

### 3/5 — Good alternative app but bad viewing experience

*2025-02-19*

Tbf good to have an alternative from the official reddit, but I can’t really watch the video properly on my ipad 10.9 inches IOS 18.3 when viewing in a landscape standard mode, which means I have to constantly adjust the the viewing angle just to watch a 30 sec short video, which is a bit annoying.

### 2/5 — Just a Reddit reader.

*2025-02-06, version 1.9.3*

Just a Reddit reader. You can’t sign in.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Just a bunch of html text

*2026-06-08, version 1.11.0*

It show’s not but a broken page of html text or something. Almost looks like it’s trying to show some kind of error but I’ll never know.

### 1/5 — Sounds glitch constantly

*2026-06-07, version 1.11.0*

Can’t watch any videos with the sound on because it’s automatically muted. And when I try to turn it up, it mutes itself again.

### 1/5 — Broken

*2026-06-06*

Just shows HTML upon opening the app. Doesn’t show any content.

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2026-05-31, version 1.11.0*

Thinks I'm using a VPN when I'm not.

Fresh install, too.

Now uninstalled.

### 1/5 — Non-functional

*2026-05-30, version 1.11.0*

Doesn’t work at all. Nothing renders.

### 1/5 — doesn’t work

*2026-05-29, version 1.11.0*

literally just spews a bunch of technical characters instead of giving an actual feed. pretty sure it’s html. refreshing doesn’t fix

### 1/5 — Wall of text code

*2026-04-27*

Frequently shxts the bed and displays nothing but a wall of code.

### 1/5 — fatal flaw

*2025-10-22, version 1.10.2*

seemed like it would be a nice reddit client to use until i found that i could not default comments to old. i mean who says which are best, hot, controversial? the users, of course.

unfortunately, that's not how everyone consumes media. nobody goes to the best movie scene, hottest book chapter. you wouldn't know what's going on if you did.

same with comments. i like to know what is being replied to.

app deleted.

### 1/5 — Used to be good

*2025-05-09, version 1.10.1*

Was OK now it’s trash. Never loads and features are half baked and never work

### 1/5 — Reason: Undefined (Still?!?)

*2025-01-12*

“Reason: Undefined” - Newest update claims to have fixed this issue, but after about 25 minutes of browsing it has come back. I’ve uninstalled the app several times, restarted my phone a bunch, and the issue still persists.

I’m going to do you guys a solid over the next couple of days, not that I want to, but I’m going to go as far as completely restoring my phone to factory everything, just in case it may be a setting within certain iPhones such as background permissions.

If the app goes more than an hour without crashing, I’ll report my findings and add one star for every day without crashing or the “reason undefined” message (up to 5 stars). Please help make this a functioning app again.

### 5/5 — Great reddit app

*2025-10-01*

I like it, much better than official app. I hope you can update to liquid glass in the future and also full screen gesture seems to not work everywhere. If that were to be updated to how it feels in the apple apps on ios 26 that would be great. Thank you dev <3
