The HSL feature is already in development and should be released in the near future🚀 ### 4/5 — Love the app but one concern *2026-07-15* I don’t know if there’s a secret setting for this but when I bring my video into the app it looks like it automatically adds a lut like a rec 709 which works great for the luts in the app already but if I bring my own luts into the app that don’t require a conversion lut they’re unusable. Is this in the works or am I missing something here **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback! The app automatically detects the video's color profile. If it recognizes a LOG recording, it will automatically convert it to Rec.709 before applying any LUTs or adjustments. If your own LUT is designed for the original LOG footage rather than Rec.709, you can simply go to Adjustments → Source and select Regular. This disables the LOG conversion, allowing you to edit the original LOG footage directly. Let us know if you need any further assistance, happy to help. ### 3/5 — Was great then there's issues *2026-06-05* I initially wrote a positive review, however after using it daily there was some serious flaws with the app. The source selection is pointless as it will not save this part of the setting. What you see through the app will not be the saved result in you album. What is strange, some times it saves while majority of the times it does not. There are also issues with compression, although you save the file according to 1080p ~ 4k... It compresses the file to the point you lose quality. There's no remedy for this issue. The whole point of this app was to simplify the color grading process but being that you have convert each clip prior to editing the video together makes it extremely time consuming and frustrating experience being that the files don't save as intended. There should be a batch process to convert files all together. **Developer response:** Thank you! App crashes constantly when editing can’t export higher than 1080 needs more color space support. Performance improvements are coming with the next update! ### 3/5 — Not great on older phones *2026-05-12* I have found that you need to set the lut to none, and a max res of 2.7 when exporting on an older iPhone- 12 Mini in my case. Also, the scratches preset is for still scratches, not the moving scratches one would see on film. Not worth paying for at this stage. **Developer response:** Thanks for your review! The user part is kinda mehh, you cant save a setting, can only do 1 project at a time. It cant take input from files, photo app only. And when you render it out you have to keep touching your phone becaus some how the app is not active during render, and if your phone locked, the whole project gone. And most importantly, no monitoring, so to achive the color you want, you would have to go back and forth between the camera app and load into this one. The price is kinda high for such a choppy workflow with this app although I enjoy the color, so if you fix all these, I would gladly be a loyal customer. **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback! It isn’t that by any definition. It sort of edits your videos the way your phone already can. While apps like CapCut offer a lot of different features they don't support LOG footage color grading, they don't support different camera profiles (DJI, Apple LOG, etc). Those are different products targeted to different users. ### 1/5 — Skip it *2025-05-05, version 2.2.1* • Misleading Free Version: Advertised as free with some premium-locked features, but the app is practically unusable without paying. • Mediocre Color Grading: LUTs and presets are average; similar or better ones are freely available on YouTube and online. • Better to Learn Yourself: Color grading isn’t complex—learn it through free tutorials instead of relying on this app. • Not Worth the Cost: As an industry user, I found nothing unique; free LUTs online outshine this app’s offerings. Verdict: Skip it. One main issue I have is that I’ve purchased the pro version. It keeps asking me to purchase and when I have little cell service it times out and doesn’t let me export anything because it thinks I have the free version. Every time I use the app it asks me to upgrade. This is the only complainer but it’s a big one if I can’t access the app without being pushed to this step I’ve already paid for.
