## What is Lutaro?

Lutaro is a library manager and editor for Sony camera color presets - Picture Profiles and Creative Looks.

Build and organize your own library: create, duplicate, tag, favorite, and search. Edit every property - gamma, black gamma, knee, color mode, color depth, detail, sharpness, clarity, and white balance - with a full native editor on iPhone and iPad.

Connect to your Sony α camera to read the Picture Profiles and Creative Looks stored on it and write your edits back. Lutaro finds the camera on your Wi-Fi network, or - when you have no network in the field - uses Bluetooth to have the camera start its own hotspot and connects directly. Either way, everything stays between your phone and your camera.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-05

- Connect over USB. A cabled camera connects directly on iPhone and iPad: no Wi-Fi, no hotspot, no password. Read, edit and write profiles as over the network.
 - Smarter slot matching. Each camera slot names its closest library profile and which settings differ.
 - A Match Threshold in Settings → Library → Match white balance decides what counts as a match, and white balance can follow a near-match.
 - Choose what Lutaro manages. Picture Profiles, Creative Looks, or both; the Camera tab, the scan and the Apply targets follow the setting.
 - Some camera settings prevented photo deletion while connected, now app can handle this situation: Settings → Keep Photos on the Camera
 - Easier setup. Offers to save Access Authentication credentials after a Bluetooth setup, asks before switching to the camera hotspot, and shows camera menu paths as step blocks. Basically guides user through the setup process. 
 - Library can handle larger number of profiles. iCloud loading shows the remaining file count.
 - Compatibility check. Settings → Diagnostics checks a cabled camera and shares a report.
 - Switching tabs no longer disconnects the camera, plus many connection and stability fixes.
