## What is Luten?

Luten is sound for the mind that learns what calms and focuses you. Not another meditation app. Just beautiful, thoughtfully crafted sound for focus, study, sleep, and quiet moments, ready the moment you need it.

Tell Sona how you feel, tired, wired, restless, or unable to focus, and Luten finds the right sound in about a minute. No course to finish. No homework. Press play.

Why people love Luten

Effortless by design. Choose how you feel and a sound meets you there.
Sounds from around the world. Cafes, rain, forests and lullabies, plus noise synthesised to its true spectrum rather than labelled by feel.
Personal by design. It learns what calms and focuses you and personalizes the best-matched sound to your mood, your habits, and the time of day, all on your device. Your data is never shared.

Five ways in

Focus: study sounds for concentration and deep work, cafe and library ambience, brown noise, lo-fi, and steady rain.
Sleep: rain on the window, gentle noise, and long, slow soundscapes for the end of the day, including a set made for the 3am wake-up that most sleep apps skip.
ADHD: broad, even beds that hold the same level the whole way through, with nothing in them that starts or stops.
Stress: slow, low sound for hard moments, plus simple guided breathing with sounds paced to each breathing pattern.
Kids: lullabies and soothing sounds for peaceful nights.

Thoughtful features

White noise, pink noise, brown noise, rain, ocean, cafe, library, forest, and binaural soundscapes.
Sona, your sound companion, finds a real sound from how you describe your feelings.
Every sound is instrumental. No vocals anywhere, uniform loudness so nothing jumps at 2am, and crossfaded loops you cannot hear come around.
Looping playback, background play, and offline downloads.
A sleep timer that fades the sound out, so it does not have to play all night.
Wind-down and daily reminders, streaks, and a 7-day starter program.
A home-screen widget and lock-screen widget for one-tap play.
Family profiles so everyone gets their own space.

Play it for as long or as short as you like. There is nothing to finish.

Luten is a wellness app, not a medical device. It is made for general relaxation, focus, and rest, and is not a substitute for professional care.

Sound for the mind.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.5 — 2026-08-31

Sona can now tell the difference between how you feel and a question she cannot answer. Ask her about the weather and she will say so in her own words, instead of handing you three sounds.

When something is genuinely beyond her, she says that plainly and points you to people who can help.

The first onboarding screen now has a Skip for now, which every screen after it already had.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-08-28

The player is now the Luten mark itself, turning slowly and breathing with whatever is playing, on a black screen that stays dark at night.

Apple Health: Manage access now asks for permission instead of only opening the Health app.

The artwork on the lock screen and in Control Centre is no longer cut off at the edges.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-08-25

Backing out of a purchase no longer shows a message saying everything was unlocked. That only appears when something was actually bought.

If Luten cannot reach the App Store, tapping a plan now tells you, instead of doing nothing.

Small fixes across the app.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-08-24

Creating an account now keeps everything you already had. Your sounds, your history and what Luten has learned about you carry straight over instead of starting again.

Anything Sona suggests will play, free or not. If Sona picks it for you, it plays.

Two sounds in every section are free to try.

The upgrade screen is now the same wherever you reach it, with the same plans and the same monthly or yearly switch.

Signing in with Apple no longer shows an error if you close the sheet, and if Apple cannot complete it you now get a message telling you what to check.

Small fixes across the app.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-08-21

You can start listening the moment you open Luten. No account is needed first.

The iMessage stickers have been rebuilt from scratch, in Luten's own colors.

Setup is faster now, and you can skip ahead whenever you like.

Today's Session suggests something you can play right away.

The plans screen shows every option with the prices for your region, what happens when the free trial ends, and how to cancel.

Cleaner artwork on the Lock Screen and in Control Center.

Small fixes to greetings and timing across the app.
