## What is Luunr?

Drag a rocket to liftoff, pick an emoji, then place it anywhere on a 3D moon you can spin with your finger. Luunr is a tactile play space for tiny hands — built for kids 1 and up, with no reading required, no instructions needed, and no way to lose.

Tap the moon to spawn random emojis. Drag the rocket to launch the emoji picker and pin your favorites wherever you want. Every action gives audio and haptic feedback, so even pre-verbal kids get rewarded for every touch. Touch targets are huge, there are no timers, no fail states, and no modal dialogs to dismiss.

• No ads
• No in-app purchases
• No accounts, no sign-up, no data collection
• No notifications begging your kid to come back
• No links out to other apps or the web
• Works offline

Just a moon, a rocket, and emojis. If something seems off, email me directly: mike@luunr.com — a real human answers.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.9 — 2026-07-07

- New Counting game! Tap the Numbers tile and hear "Pick 3 apples" - your little one hunts down each one while the voice counts along: one... two... three! Switch between Counting and classic number-finding right inside the game.
- Change categories mid-game - tap the icon at the top of the sorting game to pick a new group without starting over.
- The Match game now welcomes you with "Find the pairs" - in all 10 languages.
- The target you're hunting now sits front and center in every game, so little eyes always know where to look.
- The rocket's flame is smoother and livelier - it responds to every little push and pull.
- Lots of small polish under the hood.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-06-03

New this update: eight ways to play and learn.

We turned the moon into a little arcade of learning games. Tap the game button to open the new picker and choose:

Find it: hunt for the emoji you hear.
Chance: catch the color as the moon spins.
Colors: find the color at your own pace.
Letters: spot the letters A to Z.
Numbers: find the numbers 1 to 44.
Shapes: match circles, stars, hearts and more.
Sort by group: gather all the animals, foods, or planets.
Match it: flip and pair, with an easy and a hard mode.

Every game speaks in your chosen voice language, so play stays a learning moment in any of our 10 languages.

New menu options: Listen mode for ear only hunts, Bilingual echo to hear each word in a second language, and Hard mode for a bigger Match challenge.

Also in this update:
Clearer letter and number tiles on the moon.
Smoother celebrations and gentler hints.
Lots of little polish to make play feel just right.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-05-28

- Big voice upgrade. Every emoji name and every "Find the X" / "Pick the X" prompt now plays in a warm neural voice — a hand-picked teacher-toned voice per language. Aria for English, Ximena for Spanish, Francisca for Portuguese, Denise for French, Katja for German, Elsa for Italian, Colette for Dutch, Nanami for Japanese, SunHi for Korean, Xiaoxiao for Chinese. No more robotic phone-voice. Still no internet calls — all audio ships in the app, just like everything else.

- New play modes. Tap the game-controller in the bottom-left and Quiz and Chance fan out.

- Quiz — "Find the cookie!" The moon fills with emoji and a tile shows what to hunt for. Tap the right one and confetti rains down. Wrong one, soft "try again." No losing, no timers, no pressure.

- Chance — The moon clears, fills with colored circles, and spins. Tap the right color! "Pick the red circle" / "Elige el círculo rojo" / "あかいまるをえらんでね"

- Custom page in the picker — planets, shapes, every color of heart, the alphabet from A to Z.

- Trash button now shatters the moon — tap and watch the whole thing crumble apart and rebuild.

- Picker dock refreshed with the new iOS 26 Liquid Glass.

- Tiny fixes: cleaner letter pronunciations, the flying saucer reads as "UFO" / "OVNI", and the last emoji on every picker page is finally tappable.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-05-19

The moon now throws a fit!

- Trash now shakes the moon apart, emoji and all.
- See-through picker — your moon stays in view.
- Long-press any emoji to hear the word again.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-05-11

The moon now talks back!
- Tap any emoji and hear its name spoken aloud, in 10 languages
- Pick your language right inside the Voice menu
- Bigger, edge-to-edge emoji for tiny fingers
- Confetti milestones at 100, 250, 500 emojis and beyond. Counter is on-device only, never shared.
- Cleaner picker - swipe down to close, or just tap Luunr
- Now runs on iOS 17 (no need to update to iOS 18)
