## What is LuWu?

LuWu is a local-first file manager and encryption tool for iOS. Browse, filter, and preview everyday files, package sensitive items as LWEF encrypted files, or move them into a PIN-protected Vault.

Key features:

- File management: filter images, videos, PDFs, ZIP archives, LWEF packages, and more.
- LWEF encryption: package selected files into standalone encrypted files with a file password, optional cover, and optional local master-password unlock.
- Private Vault: protect important files with a 6-digit PIN. Vault contents stay hidden while closed.
- Wi-Fi transfer: upload files from a computer browser to your iPhone on the same local network, without a cable.
- Master password and iCloud backup: generate a strong master password and optionally back it up to iCloud for recovery.
- Files app integration: import, open, and manage local documents through the iOS file system.

LuWu has no account system and no ad tracking. File handling is centered on your device; iCloud is used only when you enable master password backup.

Supported languages: English and Simplified Chinese.
