I have loved this app for plant care but I have had a bit of confusion and difficulty over an issue or two. I grow my plants under arterial grow light leds and the app does not make it clear which setting should be used. The indoor setting appears much too low to be accurate. Otherwise it’s a great app for comparing light levels in different spots. Hopefully I can get clarification on how to have accurate readings under artificial lighting.

I’m using just the lux function for placing portable solar panels. Seems to work fine but:

What is difference between indoor and outdoor (toggled by selecting icon) for lux? Selecting outdoor makes number much higher. What does this difference mean?

This feature not explained and I could not find comprehensive documentation.

I read the reviews and saw the developer saying there are free features, so I decided to try the app. But when I opened it, all I saw was a screen asking me to sign up or start a free trial. There were no free features anywhere. If the app really has free features, they should be available without forcing people to sign up first. This feels misleading.

LightMeter est un outil de lutte très efficace contre la Pollution Lumineuse. J’ai mesuré la luminosité et la température de lumière intrusive chez moi, j’ai fait des copies d’écran que j’ai envoyé à la municipalité pour leur demander d’éteindre ou de changer les lumières en face de mes fenêtres. La lumière intrusive étant interdit par l’arrêté du 27 décembre 2018. 
La municipalité n’a pas eu d’autres choix que d’intervenir en ma faveur. Cela a améliorer ma qualité de vie
Lorsque je me promène la nuit et que je vois des lumières trop blanches ou trop bleu, je mesure la température et j’envoie des signalements à la municipalité. À force de recevoir ces signalements, ils vont changer leur façon de voir la nuit.
Il y a bien trop de luminaires, ils éclairent tous beaucoup trop. 
Cela a une influence sur les taxes que nous payons. 
Cela a une influence sur notre santé. Cela a une influence sur la biodiversité. 
Merci à toute l’équipe de LightMeter d’avoir mis à notre disposition cet outil gratuitement.

某植物の種類判別アプリと同様に、アプリ内課金に対する勘違いで叩かれていますが、トライアル等の誘導画面の右上に×あるボタンで完全無料分の使用ができます。

有料分では植物に適した光量・色温度かどうかをスキャンして測定できるようです。
有料分のその他の機能は不明ですが、紙・📷マークが存在します。

単純にluxの測定をしたい場合であれば無料で十分に使用可能です。
ただし、正確性については分かりかねますので自己判断でどうぞ。

他のレビューにあった、外カメが使えない等の不調は今のところありません。
