I would like to know why And John getting help on it thank you. *2026-07-29, version 3.6.0* I’ve got there is a new virgin box and it’s a fibre optics and my app does not work anymore. Can you help thank you ### 3/5 — Latest update *2026-07-26, version 3.6.0* The last update remove the refresh button on the IPad which is very unhelpful as it sometimes doesn’t update the information from previous use so have to close the app totally to get the data to update ### 2/5 — Quick charge function?? *2026-07-25, version 3.6.0* As with the other reviews, the older version of the app was fine as it was. There was a simple click to activate the quick charge if and when you needed it. Now I can’t find it at all on the new look– can someone get back to me as to how I charge it quickly when I want to please? ### 2/5 — Still has lots to fix *2026-07-14, version 3.6.0* The refresh button is only just showing (1/3) on an iPhone. It’s missing for an iPad. AC charge can’t be set. Solar generation chart not working. Simples. The new one may look flashier but the writing is tiny and the flowing arrows have disappeared. Hard to see as the writing is so small, especially the battery content. Hard to see how much power has been imported from the grid. Looks pretty but the old design displays information in a more easily accessed way. For a while I could access both formats but now the old format has gone and this new version seems to crash more easily. How hard should it be to reconnect the dongle to the new router? A classic case of UI leading UX. OK, surface level it’s an impressive looking dashboard but really it’s not very usable. The graphs are fiddly and the various graphics just represent the same info in different formats. While at a glance info like export for the day has gone. The old interface was much better. They reinstated choice to use that interface, but now that doesn’t pick up my station. A slick design might look nice in screenshots and marketing but really all they needed to do was refresh the programmable side of the old app. I’ll likely move my tariff to Octopus Intelligent soon so perhaps for many now programming charge/discharge slots isn’t an issue ### 1/5 — Can’t make any sense of new view *2026-03-02, version 3.1.8* The app said do I want to try the new view, I have but it’s impossible to understand what it is showing anymore, but I can’t now see a way to return to the classic mode either ### 1/5 — T *2026-03-01, version 3.1.8* Nên sửa đổi giống bản cũ dễ xem thông số hơn ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Neil *2026-08-07, version 3.6.4* Can’t log in ### 1/5 — Update 3/7/2026 *2026-07-04, version 3.5.6* Lost communications with dongle after update. Cannot now control my Lux device :( ### 1/5 — Update nightmare *2026-05-02, version 3.2.8* Since the app updated I get no power from the battery and yes the battery is 100% charged. The solar panel energy does supply the house but most goes to the grid. When there is no sun the power is drawn from the grid and not my batteries. The setting to switch back to the old app interface isn’t working so I’m left with trying to figure it out each time. Bit of a shock at first but brilliant graphics The time graduations on graph are logical rather than random times. Separate graphics for each component or combination. Getting to settings is a bit of a hassle but to be honest I don’t need to do that as my system is completely automated via Home Assistant. Great hardware btw when matched with Pylontech batteries.
