They always have exceptional deals. I always compare hotel prices online compared to Luxury Escapes prices, and often Luxury Escapes are cheaper plus offer the additional extras! Bookings have been easy, and booking with flights as well seems to be very competitive with prices booked directly fly with the airlines. But the convenience of booking it all in one, can’t beat it! I’ve rarely had to speak to their booking line. Everything has been seamless! Sorting and filtering never works and when it does it crashes. This is the most underwhelming travel app I ever used. Unfortunately the experience is exactly the same on the webpage. I downloaded the app thinking it would be better but it’s simply abysmal. You are better using Secret Escapes or Voyage Prive. Don’t bother using this. ### 1/5 — Scam contracting and unscrupulous behavior *2026-05-20, version 12.3.1* Buyer beware. They will try and steal your money if they cancel a trip. Make sure you read the terms and conditions carefully against their reason for cancellation. They will falsely claim they can’t refund you, but this is a lie, not a part of their terms and conditions and a breach under Australian consumer law. Fight them and take them to your states small claims court. This will either get you 80% of your money back in settlement or you win, get 100% back but filing costs you about 15%. Either way. Never accept credit from this company, they are highly unscrupulous. ### 1/5 — Worst app *2026-04-12* This is the worst company I’ve ever booked with. No matter how long your stay is, the service is completely unprofessional and unreliable. Nothing about these hotels feels luxury at all. Less than 24 hours before our scheduled check-in we were informed that our booking could not be honoured because the room had been “severely damaged” by the previous guest and the property was fully booked. While issues can happen, cancelling a confirmed booking at the very last minute left us scrambling and forced us to cancel multiple other reservations we had planned for the weekend. Because of the late notice, those cancellations may come at a significant cost to us. When you book through a service like this, you expect that your reservation is secure and that contingency plans exist if something goes wrong. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case here, and the disruption to our plans has been substantial. You do not know why you are not able to book something and if you manage to book then you don’t know if the property will honor the booking. We booked a property which on arrival declared that they were overbooked and had missed our reservation. I could not reach out to Luxury Escape - no one attended customer support even on their Australian number. We had to settle for a subpar property for that night or risk ruining our vacation and losing my money completely ### 1/5 — All freezes on opening *2026-02-25, version 12.0.0* Love the website, but the app is useless. Over all they are good. When things go wrong their support can be great or terrible. I would not recommend booking any one off tours through them. We booked a couple of tours while in Vietnam. On both occasions it was clear that the information on the LE website bore absolutely nothing in common with the actual events. For example, one tour that said it was “Audio Tour” when in fact it was a human who provided the tour. Another that said it was happening from 0400 to 2000 hours, when in fact it was from 700 to 2000 hours. In the cases the LE support was utterly abysmal. They flat out refused to assist in any way. It is apparent that LE use an intermediary or jump on the back of 2nd parties for these tours or attractions. I spoke to the owner of the latter tour and had no idea of LEs involvement. I simply will never book any short term events or tours via LE again. Particularly given there lack of interest in assisting at the time of need or even improving for future travellers. For multi-day tours and accomodation only travel I have found them and their support to be very good. **Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
