Just paid $99 for dual camera mode and won’t connect to my iPhone and iPad so that doesn’t work. Every third time you try to export video it doesn’t work. Called support and person on phone was completely unhelpful. Kept asking what version I was using. Sounded like a third party help desk. What a waste of money. ### 1/5 — Crashes constantly *2023-01-17* I love the idea of the live view camera and the features of the app. After trying to use for a month, I’ve gone back to doing it the hard way with my iPhone. The app crashes so often that I’d rather not even mess with it. Very simple yet expensive camera with terrible software. It’s a shame these issues haven’t been fixed with all of the reviews with the same complaint. Amazing concept but terribly unstable software! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t have the features of the original app. No template options available. *2023-01-02, version 1.5.7* Very low functionality and not as useful as the original Live View app ### 2/5 — Crash crash crash *2022-12-01* I had such high hopes for this device. Great feedback on the range without having to go back and watch the replay on your phone, decent picture quality definitely not iPhone quality but it’s good for feedback. My main complaint the APP keeps crashing, I can’t go a range session without it crashing. Hopefully this new update works, as soon as they fix these crashing issues, it will be a great tool! ### 2/5 — Studio app still needs work *2022-11-30* I don’t normally leave app reviews but I so want this concept to be a success. I purchased the new pro2 2 months ago. For basic swing mirroring using audio triggering the application works fine. But working with captured swings is way less stable. I am still not able to export my swings even with the latest updates. When I do review and edit swings the app is very hit or miss freezes and crashes are common. For the hardware software package to be a success the app needs to be better. I haven’t had issues with the phone to camera connectivity. The camera isn’t great indoors in low light. I purchased additional lights to improve that situation. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2022-10-28, version 1.5.5* LVPro2 Owner… super great product when it works… the problem is it rarely works. Super disappointing ### 2/5 — Latest Release *2022-10-21* Latest release has stability issues. Crashes often and live camera playback freezes. Wish I’d stayed on the old release. Should of made release with support for new camera a different app. ### 2/5 — New Camera and Software is a Mess *2022-10-15* The old camera and software worked. I waited 6 months to get the new camera and this launch is a disaster. The new software is full of bugs and the most basic of features don’t work. The new camera was not inexpensive, but with all the issues with the software I can’t take advantage of the new camera. Support is very slow to respond. I have now started using INFOR. ### 2/5 — Crashes *2022-10-11* LVPro2 owner here. The camera and the app work well enough (although there are things like I expected much better quality video) and the AI captures swings well. Unfortunately the app crashes every one to 2 swings which makes it really cumbersome to use in a practice session. This needs an update ASAP but if it’s fixable this could be great! ### 2/5 — Buggy *2022-09-27* New version for LVPro2 is so buggy. Constantly loses connection to my iPad. I have to exit the app and restart. Some features were lost in the new version as well. You can’t split screen and review more than one swing side-by-side. Also, lost the ability to download content (e.g. Adam Scott). With the amount of data that the videos take up, you can’t just select “starred” videos anymore. This was helpful when you wanted to bulk delete bad videos and only keep starred ones. Lost the ability to use free hand lines with the drawing tool. Please, address the bugs. ### 1/5 — Crash Fest! *2022-09-24* The app just randomly crashes. Restart phone, restart camera… record a couple swings and app quits. Not what you would expect for a $650 piece of golf tech. Frustrating to say the least. Great when it works which is not for long. Hope a big fix comes out soon. ### 2/5 — App Is buggy *2022-09-14* The LVPro2 camera looks clean and sharp, but the app loses connection from time to time. I tried changing Wi-Fi channels, but that didn’t seem to help. Also, when using LVSync dual camera with the LVPro2 and my iPad or iPad mini, it constantly loses connection and/or crashes the main app. LVSync is useless so don’t waste your money subscribing to it!! $99 is a lot to pay for a feature that does NOT work! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Garbage *2026-06-20, version 2.0.0* Used to work. Will not save any videos. Whether timer is on or just recording Video does not go to practice folder. Would give zero stars. Let me add. Customer service is nonexistent. I’ve asked for help. Received not even a response ### 1/5 — Stop updating *2025-11-12, version 2.0.0* Every time they update this, it breaks. No response from tech support. Switching to new interface makes it worse. Hey LiveView - Give up trying to update with AI or whatever marketing garbage you are pursuing, and make the basic digital mirror work. ### 1/5 — Updated UI Unusable for iPhone *2025-09-06* In the most recent update it says the UI is not compatible with the iPhone yet it allows you as an iPhone user to switch the to new UI and then you are stuck with a UI you can’t get out of it. So you need to delete the app and reinstall to get back to the old UI. Very poor implementation. If you have features that are device dependent, you should have different variations of the logic or the app to account for this. ### 1/5 — Garbage app *2025-04-12, version 1.7.3* This app is a joke and their service is non existent. What a freaking joke. Do not waste your time or money. ### 1/5 — Crashes *2025-03-27, version 1.7.3* App constantly crashes and recording/playback stops mid-swing! ### 1/5 — Bad *2024-08-04* I’m in an abusive relationship with this app. Dual camera is almost, but not entirely, unusable. Constantly disconnecting, constantly not connecting to my iPhone as the second camera, constantly not connecting to the camera to begin with…. I curse at this thing daily, but use it every day. The second I find an alternative I’ll run this camera over with my car. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-02-24, version 1.7.3* Apps broken every other day. Would be awesome if it ever worked. -latest iPhone max and iOS. ### 1/5 — Unusable. Zero Stars. *2023-10-05* Works okay as a single camera swing mirror although there is considerable lag in the video image. Have tried every wifi channel and all their other trouble shooting suggestions with no success. Dual camera using my iPad pro as the screen and my iPhone 13 Pro as the second camera is unusable. Video lag is about 20 seconds or more at times. Video from LV camera and iPhone camera not even close to being in sync. Using microphone to trigger auto recording on swings often causes the app on the iPad to crash. When it does actually record a swing, the two videos are still wildly out of sync and one or both are missing many frames - swing goes from top of backswing to past impact in one frame. Useless. Way more frustration than it is worth! Better just to film with your iPhone camera. ### 1/5 — Wow terrible software *2023-08-23, version 1.6.2* Camera is decent everything else is trash. Poor software, user interface made by 6 year olds. Not intuitive, not worth the money. Use your iPhone camera instead with a cheap bluetooth remote control. ### 1/5 — Customer support is terrible *2023-07-21* My LVPRO2 camera stopped uploading videos to my iPad and I have taken every step possible to fix it. I fixed for a short while when I reloaded the app but then stopped working again. I have sent several emails to the support and got one return asking for my purchase order number which I sent them. I have not heard back after 3 additional emails to the support team and a call to the company published number which only gave me a full mail box which would allow me to even leave a message. It is very user friendly and intuitive. Get yourself a new Iphone or a $329 Ipad and the experience is even better. The AI features make it easy to practice. Want to get better ? Get this device! ### 5/5 — Outstanding Customer Support and Product *2023-11-15* Sean was fantastic in patiently working with me to get a few kinks ironed out on a two-camera setup. More of me learning the nuances of the setup. Now this is so enjoyable to have a front facing and down the line view. It really allows me to see what I am doing and now can actively work with my hitting coach to really fine tune my swing.
