The app is so hard to navigate, nothing ever works and it’s so over complicated. The website is of no use and this app provides no support or help. Also there is no customer support you can reach out to. The login details don't work in the app. In trying to set up the sim it lead me top up, i added $10 to top the balance which looked like i progressed further by providing me a mobile number, however the format is wrong and not enough numbers. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-01-08, version 2.2.36* Not good not even any option to sign up or join to make account. After numerous calls to Luca support they sent me a message saying that they had resolved the problem, and had not. I fixed that (myself). A few weeks later I lost phone call access. Again Lyca support could not help. All they can say is switch the phone off and on which of course is my first action anyway, without needing them to tell me that. Day 1 of Lyca and can’t wait to leave for another provider. ### 1/5 — Unable to register SIM *2025-11-26, version 2.2.35* Bought a 365 day SIM plan When I have to provide a document to register SIM the drop-down box doesn’t even show anything both on app and online. Also the activate my SIM on the app takes you to a blank page. Called up customer service and after being on hold they eventually said office is closed. But I'm surprised to say that everything has been seamless, I just followed the instructions in their email after signing up. I was with Vodafone before and now I'm saving considerable money with no noticeable carrier quality change (it's still Vodafone). I grabbed a long term plan. Helpful staff have responded to my email and to my phone call about international roaming (apparently your data allowance works overseas). The App is also completely adequate.
