Everything was working in the UK until I left to go to Europe, and my data wasn’t working but everything was on, data roaming. And later, I checked settings and saw how I haven’t got the mobile data option, edi option etc. contacted customer service, they didn’t seem bothered to help me. Now I can’t even cancel lycamobile because on the app there’s literally no option, again contacted customer service and they didn’t help at all. It feels outdated, slow, and many features either don’t work properly or are unreliable. For a company with such a large customer base, I expected a much better user experience. Customer service is a major part of the telecom industry, yet Lyca Mobile doesn’t seem to invest enough in either its app or its support. My biggest issue was with an add-on I purchased. It was set to auto-renew, but I cancelled the auto-renewal immediately after purchasing because I only needed it once. The app confirmed that the cancellation was successful. However, the following month I was charged again for the same add-on. Resolving this became a nightmare. I had to contact customer support repeatedly for almost four months through calls and emails. Every time I called, I had to explain the entire situation from the beginning because no one seemed to have proper records of my case. I spent well over an hour on calls, only to receive little or no progress. On top of that, the app is often very slow to load and isn’t as functional or user-friendly as apps from other UK mobile providers. Lyca Mobile really needs to invest in improving this app, fixing the bugs, and providing competent customer support. I called customer services on 24th June just to confirm my upgrade request which were replied that is will be upgraded on 25. But my package didn't upgrade on 25. I called them again and asked about it, they said they referred my case to higher authorities and they will reply within 24-36 hours but they never. I called them after 3 days and they said the same. I called them 4 times in 1 week and they replied the same. I asked them to connect me to your Manager/ Supervisor they putted me on hold and then after 30 minutes connected me to a guy who cant even speak English properly.
