## What is LydGuiden?

Let the city tell its own story.

LydGuiden is your pocket storyteller for walking tours in Denmark. When you approach a monument, a church or a street corner with a story to tell, a vivid audio story starts all by itself — all you have to do is walk. Put on your headphones, put the phone in your pocket, and experience Copenhagen and Aalborg as if a local historian walked beside you.

HOW IT WORKS
• The map shows places around you. Green pins are ready to play.
• Auto-play is on from the start — a story begins when you walk past a place.
• Or pick a place on the map or in the list and press play.
• Plan a route by time or distance — the guide builds your tour.

WHY YOU WILL LIKE IT
• Stories written for the ear — like an audiobook, not an encyclopedia.
• Starts automatically via GPS — even with the screen locked and the phone in your pocket.
• Lock screen controls: play, pause and skip.
• Download stories for offline use at the sights.
• Clean, calm, free and ad-free.

LydGuiden currently covers Copenhagen (96 places) and Aalborg (31 places), with more cities on the way. Stories are narrated in Danish.

Your location is processed on your device only — it is never sent to a server and never stored.

Stories are written with the help of artificial intelligence, fact-checked against sources, and narrated by an AI voice. Maps: © OpenStreetMap contributors, © CARTO. Photos: Wikimedia Commons.
