### 4/5 — Good prices

*2026-08-26, version 2026.32.3*

They have good prices better than uber and drivers are quick!

### 4/5 — Policy for drivers

*2026-08-26, version 2026.32.3*

LYFT has a definite advantage over Uber when it comes to their app as it will allow you to favorite drivers you like and block drivers you don’t. It also has a place where you can write a note to the driver. It should be a policy that drivers read the notes before accepting the request. I can’t be the only person who takes LYFT who needs to ride up front because I get carsick in back. I have to take rides to a medical treatment and I get so stressed worrying about whether or not my driver will allow me up front or if I’m going to have to get another driver (then go through the same thing g again), my blood pressure is often high when I get to my appointment and it delays the start of my treatment. A policy requiring drivers to read notes before accepting a request seems a simple, logical thing to do. Notes to drivers do no good if drivers don’t read them and since there is a place for it, riders might reasonably expect the note has been read and the driver is okay with the request. Drivers should not show up to pick me up and motion to the backseat. It’s ridiculous.

### 5/5 — Very professional & safe driver.

*2026-08-26, version 2026.32.3*

Such a professional driver and very nice I enjoyed the trip. Felt the whole trip so safe, the car is super clean and comfortable. Helped me with the luggages (appreciate that) What I loved the most is it didn’t smell any smoke (cigarettes). 10+ Stars

### 5/5 — Richard

*2026-08-26, version 2026.32.3*

First ride with Lyft and off to a good start.. looking forward to future rides in and about Chicago..

### 5/5 — Ride from airport to Braintree

*2026-08-25, version 2026.32.3*

This last ride was the best and most wholesome driver me and my family ever experienced he was kind helpful , great mood and just a pleasure to meet

### 5/5 — Nice Ride

*2026-08-25, version 2026.32.3*

Very Respectful and Nice. And he gives you the option to listen to music if you want !! Good tunes in the car

### 5/5 — Most reliable

*2026-08-25, version 2026.32.3*

Always super Duper fast and reliable thank you Lyft for always getting where I need to be!!😃

### 4/5 — Drivers are friendly

*2026-08-25, version 2026.32.3*

I arrive on time after nice conversation. Like. Traveling with a friend.

### 2/5 — My op

*2026-08-25, version 2026.32.3*

Los precios súper caros 😭 aveces están bien pero últimamente muy caros

### 5/5 — Above and beyond

*2026-08-25, version 2026.32.3*

Very informative and very helpful in every way.

### 3/5 — Never what it seems

*2026-08-25, version 2026.32.3*

In the 10 seconds it takes me to select my pickup location, the price increases, which means the price I selected was never real. This happens about 90% of the time. Also, the time estimates are hardly ever accurate, so paying more for a faster pickup is basically a lie. This service is convenient, but it is consistently misleading and feels predatory in the way prices are presented to customers.

### 2/5 — Very slow and charges random things

*2026-08-25, version 2026.32.3*

I’ve been using lyft for a while now, and every time i use it and get a ride, it takes 5 minutes for them to load a driver. They promote it only taking around a minute but it takes 5-8 minutes for me to even load a ride. Apart from that, I get out on time and my ride only waits a short amount of time but they wait until it’s after 2 minutes of waiting to get some extra cash. THAT IS NOT OKAY! I am also getting charged random fees on random days of me not using the app such as $2 or $3. Do better.

### 5/5 — Lyft

*2026-08-25, version 2026.32.3*

She was very kind

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Search of drivers

*2026-08-26, version 2026.32.3*

I’ve waited over 10 mins for a potential driver, 3 of them was selected to pick me up and the 3 of them never came, some how they were not available anymore. I do not recommend if you are supposed to be somewhere in time.

### 1/5 — Scammers

*2026-08-26, version 2026.32.3*

I don’t use Lyft, only in emergencies. I order two rides one in the morning one in the afternoon. The one in the afternoon I canceled two mins after making it, because I ended up getting a ride. This was on Monday it is now Wednesday and there is still a hold on my account which now has my account in the NEGATIVE! How?

### 1/5 — Issues

*2026-08-26, version 2026.32.3*

Impossible to talk with a real person. Had issues with drivers accepting the ride but going FARTHER from the pick up point and just stopped somewhere, showing no intentions of going to pick up point. I cancelled because I don’t know how long I’m going to wait and I had somewhere to be. Yet I was charged for cancellation fee because the driver was “inconvenienced”. What a joke of a system

### 1/5 — The worse app

*2026-08-26, version 2026.32.3*

This is the worse app ever if you have emergency and need to be somewhere by a certain time never use it because they will take years to get you someone and always ask for more for faster service. They change the payments so fast like it might be 5 one minute ago but 22 the next minute.

### 1/5 — Three Drivers- one finally showed up

*2026-08-26, version 2026.32.3*

We arrived at Orlando Airport and ordered a Lyft.
The program said the driver would be there in 11 minutes. We watched him drive in the opposite direction from the airport while the pickup time kept growing now to 18 minutes. We tried to contact the driver to see what was going on and received no response. We canceled the ride and ordered another ride. We paid more for the priority ride which the program said would take 4 minutes to arrive. We watched in amazement as the driver was driving as if she was lost turning and maneuvering around the airport but never coming in our direction after 30 minutes of waiting she disappeared from our scene and Lyft assigned another driver who drove directly to us. I asked him if there was a traffic problem at the airport and he looked at me confused and said no.
We drove out of the airport and there was no traffic at all.
A ride that I was initially advised would be there turned into a forty minute nightmare.
I’m wondering if going with Waymu might be the future answer to eliminate this problem.

### 1/5 — Creepy drivers

*2026-08-26, version 2026.32.3*

If you’re a girl you should feel safe ordering a ride. Not racist but certain types of drivers seem to think that women are on earth for them. Disrespect and to the point of sollicitons is common here! Should try to hire diverse people and give us girls a better chance at a safe ride home or to work.

### 1/5 — Ridiculous fees

*2026-08-26, version 2026.32.3*

They charge ride cancellation fees even if no one comes

### 1/5 — Scamming

*2026-08-25, version 2026.32.3*

I’m trying to figure out, if I get charged for a set price. Why do my total go up the next day??? You guys charged me a set price 11.97 then went up to 14.78. How is this possible? And this isn’t the first time you guys did this either. I’m tired of it

### 1/5 — only wait

*2026-08-25, version 2026.32.3*

tried to book 2 rides today but after waiting 5 mints, driver was arriving in 12 minutes but in between she cancelled the ride, for second one i waited for 7-8 minutes and no driver showed, for Long Island, NY. seriously?

### 1/5 — expensive app

*2026-08-25, version 2026.32.3*

expensive for short rides had to cancel lyft pink no benefits

### 5/5 — World’s greatest driver

*2026-08-26, version 2026.32.3*

I have taken hundreds of Lyft and Uber rides and by far this was the greatest

### 5/5 — The Best

*2026-08-26, version 2026.32.3*

The best driving app by far for me

### 5/5 — Ride to home

*2026-08-26, version 2026.32.3*

I used to rely on Uber for my daily rides to and from work and it used to make me wait for a to 30 minutes at night .
I found this lyft app and though it’s expensive than Uber, it’s worth spending, to save time and for safety reasons.

Keep up the good work!!!
