### 5/5 — Steady Improvements

*2026-07-24*

The app and software has steadily been improving with input from customers. I had some issues at first, mainly hardware. Those issues have been resolved and the mower is now functioning great.

### 3/5 — Love most of the app but …

*2026-07-18*

The bot and app are pretty good. I have a few complaints. When connecting to my eero mesh network with 5ghz off. The app shows full WiFi signal and then repeatedly fails to connect. When I turn on mow in the rain. The bot does mow and then constantly fails to find the base or consistently send charging stopped unexpectedly. A few other minor inconveniences not worth mentioning with these two big hitters.

I ended up setting up a 2.4ghz access point (AP) just for the lymow and that worked. As for the rain, the only two options are to leave it sitting when it rains or the lawn has dew on it, or go out and dry it well with a towel which mitigates the usefulness of the bot quite a bit.

### 5/5 — Mower okish app decent

*2026-07-04*

Needs alot of babysitting but when it works its great. The app is decent they put some real work into it

### 1/5 — Help desk

*2026-07-03, version 3.0.8*

Need better customer service. Email only doesn’t hack it.

### 3/5 — Good with a few flaws

*2026-07-03*

Good mower for rural areas - could be so much better.
This mower is a lifesaver for an old person with a hilly property. It handles most of the terrain quite well, and if GPS were built in to the unit (instead of the outdated RTK pole) it would be SO. Much. Better. I have the One Plus and I also have the Dream AWD so have a good comparison for the same property. The Dreame does ok on the country lawn and handles the terrain but the smaller blades just don’t handle the thicker country green in summer. The Dreame has GPS built in, keeps the WiFi signal well and the Bluetooth most of the time. The Lymo does the perfect mow as long as the sky is heavily clouded or as long as it doesn’t get out of range from the RTK. The Lymo app is OK on the basic settings and the most recent update says it added Split Map among other things - but I still can’t use that because apparently the firmware is out of date, so the tech is still quite buggy.
I’d say of these two machines were combined - the Lymo tank style with true blades and the Dreame connectivity tech I would have a near perfect machine. I could write so much more about both of these mowers. Overall the One Plus does the job most of the time but has its issues - as all robot mowers do. It is still a time saver and with a little management on my part is still well worth it. If I had been able to wait until the Two is released I would have but needed this badly due to a bad knee that made mowing by hand impossible. At least with this machine my home looks well cared for, and I like the One Plus but just wish the app had all the features that others do. I also wish it were gray instead of black—can’t believe how hot it gets in summer sun.
I did take the side cover off due to grass clogs and have had zero issues there since. I have had this machine now 4 months, and still very glad I got it, but also glad I got the other one as well, to see which type mower works best for my needs, I have about 4.5 acres total that need mowing all on hilly ground.

### 5/5 — ⚡️⚡️⚡️

*2026-07-03, version 3.0.8*

Love the app

### 5/5 — App is great but no support

*2026-06-22*

“Update: I am changing my review from 1 star to 5 for the app since they let you have so much control. They are constantly updating it and the firmware. Lymow finally replaced my mower with the plus version. I can tell it seems to drive smoother and seems to cut better. Below is my original review.” - The app is great. Lots of features. Some may not like so many features. I give a one star because my mower has no WiFi or Bluetooth connection since I got it out of storage over the winter. Support has stopped responding. Over a month and a half since I started this support case.

### 5/5 — Working well on my property

*2026-06-10*

I was hesitant to buy One Plus after seeing all the negative reviews. But I have about 8k sqft lawn with steep terrain and it was very hard to mow manually (took 3-4 hours) and LOT of sweat!

I decided to bite the bullet and buy it and I am so happy I did!! My lawn has never looked better before (even after hours of work). Its been over a month I have been running it at least twice a week it does amazing job.

Your mileage may vary but I am extremely happy with this so far!

### 2/5 — Unobstructed RTK Good, Obstructed RTK Bad

*2026-05-31*

Here’s the reality: Lymow is probably still 1–2 years away from becoming a truly reliable autonomous mower for all environments.

The company has built what is arguably one of the strongest hardware foundations in the robotic mower market, but its software remains in the early stages of development. When you purchase a first- or second-generation robotic mower, you’re voluntarily accepting the growing pains that come with being an early adopter. Over time, through customer feedback, real-world testing, and software updates, the product will improve significantly—but it’s not fully there yet.

As the title suggests, if your property is relatively open and unobstructed, with minimal tree cover and clear boundaries, your experience with Lymow will likely be very good. However, if your yard includes mature trees, dense canopy cover, deep landscape bed edges, overhanging shrubs, or other challenging features—which describes many residential properties—be prepared for some frustration.

At times, the mower may lose positioning accuracy, get stuck, cross into flower beds, or stop unexpectedly when it loses reliable access to navigation signals. These issues are not necessarily hardware limitations; they are largely software and navigation challenges that can be improved over time.

There are several paths forward. Lymow can continue refining the handoff between RTK and VSLAM navigation, improve AI-based boundary recognition when signal quality deteriorates, and potentially explore additional sensing technologies such as LiDAR in future generations. None of these problems are unsolvable.

But this is the reality of being an early adopter: you’re helping test and shape the future of the product while living with its current limitations.

So either enjoy the ride and expect occasional bumps along the way, or wait another 1–2 years for the software to mature and for most of today’s bugs and edge cases to be addressed.

### 2/5 — Firmware is a problem

*2026-05-26*

Amazing product. When it works. Customer service is impossible to get a hold of and firmware updates have far too many kinks that need to be worked out. Basically I have a brick right now.
