## What is Lynch Syndrome?

The Lynch Syndrome app was developed following research with Lynch Syndrome carriers and is supported by the UK National Health Service Genomic Medicine Service Alliance and by the Lynch Syndrome UK and Lynch Syndrome Ireland patient associations.

The Lynch Syndrome mobile app will provide Lynch Syndrome carriers with their own portable patient-held, longitudinal, personal care record.
All data is patient entered and requires no integration with third-party systems.

The app provides NHS-approved information, support, and guidance to Lynch Syndrome carriers plus automatic alerts, reminders, and follow-up for all the NHS-recommended Lynch Syndrome screening checks.

All data storage and any user the data is only with explicit patient consent that is given and recorded in the mobile app.

1. Medical History Enhancements
   •The Medical History section has been redesigned with distinct Diagnosis and Screening subsections.
   •Users will now view one question at a time, alongside their past responses for improved clarity.

2. Smarter Personal Dashboard
   •A new Update button has been added to the Personal Dashboard.
   •This allows users to quickly navigate to relevant questions based on any new conditions they report.

3. Language Selection Improvements
   •A language switcher is now available in the side menu, with country flags for easy recognition.
   •The selected language flag appears in the app bar, and users remain on the current page after switching languages.

4. Biometric Authentication
   •Biometric login can now be enabled from both the Profile section and the side menu, adding a secure and convenient sign-in option.

5. Redesigned Access Code Section
   •The Access Code interface has been simplified for easier mapping.
   •Request wording has been revised, and users can now choose from three clear text options.

6. Consent Requirement
   •User consent is now mandatory before accessing the app.
   •Without consent, access will be restricted.
   •Items in the consent form are now numbered for improved understanding.

7. New Resources Available
   •The University of Leicester Patient Information Leaflet and the GDPR Privacy Notice are now accessible from the side menu.

8. Updated Educational Content
   •The “What is Lynch Syndrome” section now includes details about Helicobacter pylori’s relevance to Lynch Syndrome.

9. Useful Links Revamped
   •The "Useful Links" section in the side menu has been renamed (new title not specified).
   •Six new links have been added to expand user resources.

10. Communication Format Update
   •Formats for email and text messages have been revised to improve clarity and comprehension.
