The brand new Giesemann LYNK App provides a user friendly WIFI interface for all Giesemann smart devices like the new AURORA V-8. Features include easy set up, professional mode, online monitoring, data base and many other functions for all Giesemann WIFI products. Your Giesemann device doesn't require a permanent internet connection as it runs stand-alone. It just may be connected with your router during setup or even may adjusted by its own WIFI access point. The LYNK app provides a number of preset lighting programs as well as additional features including sunrise/sunset, lunar cycle, clouds and other weather simulation. The app offers as well an acclimation program for new aquarium setups. LYNK provides comfortable guidelines during setup and as well as useful notifications in the event of power outage. App ist sicher gut aufgebaut, nur funktioniert sie nicht wie beschrieben. Verbindung mit Heimnetzwerk geht nicht. Dateien per AirDrop senden wird immer der App Store vorgeschlagen obwohl App schon längst geladen ist. Das Auffinden der Leuchte muss mehrmals durch Neustart der selben angestoßen werden und nicht vergessen die App vorher zu schließen, sonst geht gar nichts. Neuerdings schaltet die Leuchte sich um Mitternacht automatisch an, obwohl dort gar keine Programmierung vor liegt. ### 1/5 — Not as Advertised *2022-01-26* Was under the impression that this app would control the original VerVve’s from what research I’ve done. Does not see them. Emailed Giesemann, they told me it’s only for the new line of lights that have WiFi. I asked why does it have a Bluetooth function. They have never responded. I’ve been waiting for a new app, which they told me was in works when I originally bought these lights. Old app is not user friendly. **Developer response:** This App controls all GIESEMANN lights of the latest generation, including the VERVVE G-3. For older models (controlled by bluetooth) please download the required app from our website. But good lord their software is absolutely terrible-if it works at all. This app just doesn't work on my lights. Neither does the software for Mac that can be downloaded from the website. Add in the fact that Coralvue—worst customer service I’ve ever experienced from their light guy Chris—is their distributor and I think I’m going a different direction from here on out. **Developer response:** This App LYNK smart control operates with all GIESEMANN lights of the current generation, e.g. AURORA V8, AURORA V12, FUTURA pro, PULZAR G3/Lynk-control.... lights from older generations still use the existing software (please have a look at our website www.giesemann.de/en ### 5/5 — Funktion, Qualität und Design vereint. *2021-10-16, version 1.1.0* Ich kenne die V8 noch als Eco Version, aber was Giesemann jetzt in Verbindung mit der App auf die Beine gestellt hat, ist echt der Hammer. Die App ist sowohl für Anfänger als auch für Profis konzipiert und macht das einstellen der Lampe Kinderleicht. Firmware Updates sind durch Anbindung an das Wi-Fi Netzwerk leicht und schnell installiert. Einstellungen können mit anderen Usern geteilt werden. Die Lampe selbst hat mich von Anfang an mit dem Design begeistert Und auch bei der Lampe gibt es ein ganz neues LED Panel welches das Farbspektrum abrundet, von verschiedenen Blautönen über weiß und UV bis hin zu cyan (einem Stich ins blau grüne) Ich bin begeistert von der Lampe und werde Sie definitiv weiterempfehlen… Sven EIDR-Aquaristik ### 5/5 — Super app *2021-07-18, version 1.1.0* Tolle App klappt super!! Aurora V8 klappt super, kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!! ### 5/5 — Das Flagschiff mit Startschwierigkeiten *2021-07-08, version 1.1.0* Nun ist es 1,5 Jahre her seit wir uns für die Aurora V8 in 1500mm entschieden und bestellt haben. Ständig standen wir mit der Firma Giesemann in Kontakt wann denn nun endlich das neue Licht über unserem Becken aufgehen sollte. Corona tat da noch sein Übriges! Für den Übergang gab es aber ohne Diskussionen eine Lampe zu Überbrückung (meiner Meinung nach ein einzigartiger Service). Und das Fazit? Was lange währt wird endlich gut? NEIN. Es wird nicht gut. Es wird überragend. Das Licht ist intergalaktisch. Das lange warten bereuen wir in kleinster Weise. Unsere Korallen zeigen es mehr als deutlich mit extremen Wachstum. Die Lampe ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet. Über die App kann alles super einfach eingestellt werden und leuchtet unser 2,00 x 0,80 x 0,6 m Becken perfekt aus.
