No Home Screen, search results, or route ETAS anymore; just an Error message for everything. When it worked though, it was so helpful. Wish more funding and urgency went towards the improvement of streamlined public transit here. ### 2/5 — Not working *2023-12-17* This app use to be so convenient and for that past 2 weeks it has not work it don’t show any location of the buses nothing. I suggest you find an alternative form of commute as the transit system in Orlando is atrocious. Traffic can really affect and delay bus routes which spills over in many ways. Drivers won’t wait for transfers, the app is often times inaccurate (I’m assuming some buses don’t turn on the gps system which then translates to no bus appearing on the app. Google Maps times are off. Buses are either early or late. Some don’t show up at all (whether it’s due to breakdown or the employee simply not showing up) which then means you are forced to wait another 30 min to an HOUR. Any businesses or entrepreneurs who happen to read this—PLEASE bring in some competition. Lynx is trash. Erratic people are oftentimes allowed to remain on the bus regardless of how disruptive they may be. Calling customer service results in nothing but hot air between two individuals. No changes or improvement. And the Routes option has No Routes Found. I can’t use this anymore. I have no clue if the bus came earlier and I just missed it or if it’s late. One bus wasn’t even running as it always had been yesterday and I had no way of seeing/knowing and had to Uber home after waiting for over 50 minutes. ### 1/5 — needs MAJOR work *2023-11-19* bus times are never accurate. will be waiting 1+ hours for a bus it says is coming in 5 minutes. customer service NEVER responds. feels like the feedback tab is just an electronic paper shredder. don’t think folks even look at the feedbacks. bus drivers suggest the app and then get mad when asked if they know why it isn’t accurate. good idea just executed SO poorly and only getting worse. if you’re disabled/have chronic pain be prepared to wait MUCH longer than the app tells you. ### 1/5 — Melissa F. *2023-06-14* Dear developer, there’s a problem with the app. I have a iPhone 7+ plus phone and when I use my data, the app won’t work even though my data is on. Please found a way to update the app for my iPhone 7+ plus so the app can work on it, thank you. ### 1/5 — New Developer Needed *2023-05-09* Today was the first time I used the Lynx bus and tried to access via the app to find out about routes by time schedules. It was a bad experience and that’s putting it nicely. I’ve had this app download for a while, but never needed to use the bus. Today I tried to find out what time the buses were leaving that I needed (111 from airport to Sand Lake SunRail with a transfer to 18 bus towards Meadow Woods. Every time I tried to open the app to get specific route information it closed right away. The only portion of the app that seem to work tracked where the buses were at any given tim but trying to get information like times that it would arrive, Bus stops or general schedule information, it was almost impossible to do that. I had better luck when I went to the GoLynx webpage to find the information I needed. ### 1/5 — Not working *2023-04-26* For past month or so the app hasn't even been working. It works maybe twice out of the day and always glitching. Needs to be fixed asap. A lot of people use this to get to work on time or if it's raining we can go to the bus stop when the bus is close instead of waiting out there forever in the rain. Busses run whenever they feel like it too, usually you don’t know if they came 15 min ago or if you are on time or if you have to wait an hour and a half just to get on a bus. So much technology now a days and can’t even figure how to get this app working. You have too many lines going over the same route. Too many buses operating in the same neighborhood multiplied over several neighborhoods. Too many buses = too many geolocations to track = the app doesn’t want to perform. It freezes up. It doesn’t want to do anything it’s designed to. If you try to zoom in, you freeze there and the app eventually crashes. You try to look up a route in the search field it freezes and crashes. This app can’t handle your inefficient ineptitude to run a public transportation system. And the idiocy that you can’t study the routes if you’re on here after hours or when the business is closed. That is infuriating. I see people were complaining five years ago about this issue. FIVE years! I do wish the times were more accurate and did say 3-5 minutes, 28-30 minutes. That’s a pretty big window and I’m most of the time it’s usually the 3 minutes away. Let's help the travelers head into Downtown. ### 4/5 — This app barely works *2023-04-13* For the past TWO WEEKS, I've tried to open it to see where my buses are, in my area they are always inconsistent. Sometimes they are over 30 mins late, other times they’re 15 mins early. I cant even see buses half the time, ill click “See All” just to make sure it isnt just MY buses, no its ALL of them. A particular feature that should be added in future revisions of the app is the ability to plan a trip outside of hours that the bus actually runs. The current app doesn’t show bus routes at all if that particular bus route is done for the day. Perhaps it was designed for tracking only. Maybe integrate it with maps or something....I don’t know. Example: it’s 2:00 am and I know I need to be at 123 ABC street by 830 am tomorrow morning, but I have no clue what bus to catch or where to catch it. The lynx tracker app is of no help at all right now because no buses are running. I would have to open a maps app, put in my starting point and destination address, and what time I need to be there by and then choose bus for method of transport. The search results would tell me what bus or buses that I need to take and from where and what time, any transfers, etc. Once the buses start running I can use the tracker app to determine if the bus is on time and while that is helpful It would be nice however to not need 2 separate apps to succeed in this type of situation.
