I tried my best to find out what to do but there’s no customer service, and I even went to YouTube hoping there would be a video explaining it a bit. I rode for 17 minutes and was charged $7 and some change - that is NOT a *small* fee, and now my account won’t let me deactivate because I only purchased $5 in credit. I could have gotten a Lyft for $1 more, there’s no reason for it to cost this much to rent a scooter for less than $20 minutes when app bike rentals in nearby cities are only $1/hr. ### 1/5 — It’s cheaper to Uber *2020-06-20, version 1.5* You can not remove your credit card information once entered. If you do not have enough balance on your account, you will not be able to unlock any scooters. You cannot empty your account with any residue amount left. ### 2/5 — An absolute joke of a company *2020-05-07, version 1.5* I’ve had a problem EVERY time I’ve used one of these scooters with NO customer service response to my many many complaints. Each time they get an extra dollar or two from me for one reason or another. I’ve been charged the wrong rate, I’ve had ride timers that keep going even after I’ve ended my ride, I’ve had scooters that will randomly stop working mid-ride and so many other problems. I can’t wait until Lime Scooters to come back so I don’t have to use this ridiculous app ever again. Lynx is the special olympics of scooter rental companies. What a joke! ### 5/5 — My experience *2021-09-07, version 2.1* I always seem to around town just going about and I never wanted to get on one because I am 350 pounds and Some.So I wanted to test this out to see if it would hold me and how fast it would go. Not only did it hold me but it also went up to 11 miles an hour. So I was chilling the entire time I had to make a stop by the bank and I can pause the ride. I also met one of the people who resupply the scooters on the street? I asked him if one of the indicator lights meant that it was dying and he was really cool he said yes and offered to change the battery. For most of this I’m using text to speech but it’s awesome. I used it for 28 minutes and it charged $11.11.
