## What is Lynxuz?

Lynxuz is the social network for the neighborhood you actually live in.

Drop a "Right Now" signal when you're free to see who's around and meet up in person. When you do, connect safely — tap phones with Bump or scan each other's Handshake QR code — so the people in your circle are people you've really met.

Inside that circle, trust works the old way: vouch for people with real stories, recommend neighbors by name, and turn small Asks and Gifts into lasting relationships.

Most apps are built to keep you on your phone. Lynxuz is built to get you off it.

Now launching one neighborhood at a time in Richmond, BC.

Lynxuz is for adults 18 and over.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### Version: 1.0.67 — 2026-06-11

New navigation: Home, Circle, Explore, Messages, plus a quick compose button.
Simpler post cards with a single Nod to show support.
Vouches are now in-person — vouch after you've met and shaken hands.
Recommend neighbours on Asks and Right Now signals.
Choose Free or Paid on an Ask.
Dark and light themes.
Event times show in local time; shared event links are public.
Lynxuz is now 18+.

### Version: 1.0.64 — 2026-05-29

Lynxuz is now 18 and over. When you open the app you'll confirm your date of birth once — that's it. Plus the usual round of polish and fixes under the hood.

### Version: 1.0.61 — 2026-05-20

Lynxuz now supports local businesses. If you run a bakery, do plumbing, watch kids, fix bikes — turn on the business toggle in Edit Profile and add your trade. Neighbors can find you, vouch for you, and recommend you on Asks.

We also added a "Mentioned by N neighbors" line to profiles, so you can see at a glance who in the neighborhood actually vouches for someone — not stars, real people.

A bunch of small polish across the app: cleaner profile headers, consistent icons on every post, less clutter on cards.

### Version: 1.0.56 — 2026-05-14

- Tap a profile photo to see it full-screen.
- Tap a Right Now signal and we'll open a message to the person with
"Re: their signal " already in the box, so you just add your bit and
send. No more guessing how to say "I'm coming."
- Bump now actually triggers when two phones tap. Earlier builds needed
an unrealistically hard knock; a normal tap works now.

### v1.0.37 — 2026-03-30

Bug fixes and improvements:

• Fixed: Instagram and social media links now save correctly from Edit Profile
• Fixed: LinkedIn import now auto-fills your bio and skills as expected
• Fixed: "Write with Lynx AI" now works correctly when creating a post
• Fixed: Invite by Business Card now connects properly on all devices

Thanks for your patience — keep making yourself available.
