Lyric Scroller allows you to type in your lyrics, record the exact motion of scrolling them on the screen, and then replay those motions. The words will automatically move for you, exactly how you scrolled them the first time. This leaves you free to play an instrument or wave to the crowd. You can even externally-start the scroll playback using OSC Messages! Perfect for karaoke singers, musicians who play to a click track, and even public speakers. Never forget a word again. I can create sets, choose to scroll them myself or use the record feature to drag the lyrics at the speed I need - it then scrolls at the right speed and remembers it. I would like it to have iCloud backup, so I can use across multiple devices as a backup in case my device fails on stage!! ### 1/5 — Does not work at all!!!!!! *2024-12-29* Either that or it’s so confusing that there’s no obvious way to turn on the auto scroll ### 2/5 — No backup option *2023-12-20* There is no backup so if you lost your device, you will lose your lyrics. I have a pretty old iPad and it works perfectly. Not sure how anyone couldn’t work out how to use a couple of basic functions!! **Developer response:** Thank you! The text is fairly simple to edit. I have the same complaint as the others. Would not recommend buying - Free versions of the same thing are incomparably better. Support is only on Twitter - not email or phone. No way to request a refund. **Developer response:** There is no other app that lets you scroll and replay your own scrolling motions. There are only fixed scrolling speed apps which have no customization. I’m sorry the two button interface was so hard to wrap your head around. No messages from you on Twitter. You didn’t even attempt to ask for help. Will be happy to assist you if you just reach out. ### 4/5 — Alphabetical *2019-04-20* How do you alphabetize the songs on the main page? Also you need a delete button. For ones you enter and then decide you don’t want it. There needs to be more instructions on how to use the app. Not a lot, but some. How to set the speed of the scrolling etc. Another thing. If I have multiple iPads iPhones etc? Do the lyrics I enter transfer to the other apps without me rewriting them?
