## What is M?

M-Cal is a simple, thoughtful calendar for iPhone and Mac.
It reads and writes the events already in your Calendar, so your iCloud and other events are ready to use right away.
One purchase works on both iPhone and Mac.

■ Never miss what matters
Mark an event as "Important" and it appears in a bar at the top of the screen, with its date and a countdown. Birthdays and key dates are always in view.

■ Clear month and list views
• The month view shows event titles clearly inside each bar
• The list view shows upcoming events in order
• Search by period, by calendar, or only your important events

■ Fast to enter
• Past events with the same title show up as suggestions. Tap one to copy its time, place, and more
• URL, location, notes, and multiple reminders (up to 5)
• Detailed recurrence (specific day of the month, end of the month, and more)
• On Mac, press ⌘K to add an event quickly from a sentence

■ 10 kinds of widgets
Choose from this month, upcoming events, today, calendar plus events, and more.

■ And more
• Change each calendar's color, show or hide it, and reorder it (synced between iPhone and Mac)
• Duplicate events, import and export .ics files
• Available in Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, and Arabic

■ Privacy
M-Cal does not collect any data and does not send anything to external servers. Your events stay on your device and in your own calendars, such as iCloud.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.2 — 2026-10-31

We've updated the app icon.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-10-28

• Opening the To-Do creation screen now puts the cursor in the title and shows the keyboard right away (also when you switch to “To-Do”)
• Previously used To-Dos now appear as suggestions on the creation screen. Tap one to fill in the title
• Completed To-Dos now stay at the bottom of the list for 7 days
• The full title is now shown, without truncation, in the event details you open from a day
• URLs in an event's notes (such as Zoom or Google Meet links) can now be tapped to open
• The calendars you choose to show are now remembered after you close the app
• The To-Do list now always shows a divider and a “Completed” heading between open and completed items, with a small note that completed items are removed after 7 days

### 1.1.0 — 2026-10-27

• You can now add undated To-Dos in addition to events. Switch between “Event / To-Do” on the new-item screen
• On iPhone, see your To-Dos in the list view; on Mac, use the checklist button at the top right. Tap (or click) the circle to complete one; completed items disappear from the list the next day
• To-Dos sync between iPhone and Mac via iCloud
• In the month view, the text of timed events now uses a shade of the calendar color you chose
• The event title size in the day's event list now matches the event list

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-25

• The month view now shows more events on busy days, and the “+N” indicator is easier to read

### 1.0.5 — 2026-10-24

• In the month view and the day's event list, events from your own calendars can now appear above events from calendars shared with you (Settings: “Sort by Calendar Order”)
• “Important” marks set by other people in shared calendars no longer show up on your screen
• Choose “Share Important Marks” for each calendar. It's handy for a calendar like your children's, where you both want to see each other's “Important” marks
• Events in view-only calendars (such as family calendars) can no longer be edited, deleted, moved or shared
• Added more calendar colors, and bars now show the color you picked
• Fixed the order of accounts in the calendar list in Settings
• In the event editor, the calendar picker now sits right below “Time Zone” and shows the account name and a color dot
