## What is M?

NOTE: If you are not a Microsoft Intune user, install the original M-Files application to your device.

M-Files® is a powerful and dynamic enterprise content management (ECM) and document management solution that solves the problems of managing, finding, tracking and securing information in companies of all sizes. 

The M-Files iOS application lets you access your M-Files documents anytime and anywhere – even when you’re on the go or not connected to your office network. The application enables you to find documents from your M-Files Vaults via powerful search functions and various, customizable views, as well as to view and approve documents and workflows.

To be able to utilize the iOS application you need to have an M-Files system set up and to possess the required access rights. To get started, you need an M-Files server address and login credentials.

The M-Files iOS application has been optimized for both the iPhone and the iPad layouts.

- Related objects are now shown under correct grouping labels.
- Minimum supported iOS version was updated to 15.0.

- User can mark the assignment done even when the Assigned To property is read-only.
- Property groups section in the Metadata card is now shown with a clear divider for better visibility.

New features:
- The app now shows if an object is a link to another vault. Tapping the link will open the object in the linked vault.
- You can now replace files from the properties view.
 
Fixes and improvements:
- The app no longer stops operating when showing pdf-files.
- Relationships from single-select properties are now shown correctly.
- Horizontal top banner is now shown correctly in all iPhone models.
- The app no longer stops operating when images are added via scanning.
- Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) can be used with single tenant Azure apps for the authentication to M-Files mobile.
- When a new object is created in a view, the object type is prefilled correctly.
- Views with multiple grouping levels can now be added offline.
- The set value now operates correctly in metadata card configuration.
- Default group can be set as read-only in metadata card.
 
The release also includes a set of other bug fixes and improvements.
