I was looking forward to using this app - had heard good things about it. But unfortunately, I can’t use it as it does not have an option for viewing traditional characters. It is also unfortunate that this app has locked out all the people who do study traditional Chinese characters. Doesn’t make any business sense. And it is not hard to do. All other apps I use can do it.

Agreed with the most recent reviewer. The content is fantastic and so much fun. However whenever I try to upgrade to VIP, or buy more beans, the app completely crashes. There’s not much that you can do without these upgrades, so I’m really sad that my fun with this app has to come to an end.

I really like the app, so much that I would like to buy the VIP subscription. However, every time I press the button, the app crashes. Agreed with everyone else who says this is a great and well-designed method for practicing Chinese. It has definitely earned a place in my rotation.

But I should also point out that there are some rough edges that I’d want to see fixed before I can give it five stars. First and foremost is the audio. I have too complaints here. The first is that audio takes a long time (maybe 2-3 seconds) to play when I tap on a speech bubble. I’m guessing it’s because it waits until I talon a bubble before requesting the audio, instead of pre-fetching the content when I open the lesson.

The second is that the recordings can be spoken a bit too quickly for me (a beginner) to really understand well. I’m not fond of slow over-enunciated speech in learning materials, but, at least for the beginner-level content, something more on the slow end of a natural pace would help with being able to properly hear how things are supposed to be pronounced.

At first, I thought it was just my device, but after reading other reviews, I found that others are experiencing the same issue. It's like the internet gets cut off, and I can't use the app, even though the internet works fine with other apps. Please fix this. I really love this app. ㅠㅠ
